been calling my cell phone for several days now - no message left at all

I have had my home phone number for the entire 14 years I have lived in my home. These idiots have been calling my home for the past several days asking for the people who lived in this house before I purchased it OVER 14 years ago! They never even had this phone number...just lived in this house.

It's Wells Fargo trying to make it clear that your a month behind on your mortgage payment.  It's not even 10am and they called 3 times.  Thsi is what you do......
When you call Wells Fargo and listen to the recorded message it states that they are a debt collector trying to collect a debt.  this means that they have to abide by the FDCA.  Send them a cease and desist letter.  When you get your green return receipt back start counting the calls from that moment on.  Every time they call they violate the law and you can sue them for each phone call.  Reading some peoples messages on here it could be a windfall.  5 times a day = $5000 plus attorney fees.  
They are already being sued for robo-forclosures and got in so much trouble they had to suspend forclosures in 16 or so states.  Although it's not precident has not been set,  I don't think a jury would favor Wells Fargo, "the big company that wants to take away your house."
It's tough times out there and my jury box would be filled with out of work auto workers just waiting to stick it to the man because the man stuck it to them.

They recently bought my mortgage and didn't tell me.  It took me a month to figure out that my old mortgage company sold it to them.
Wells Fargo would not work with me and are now charging me late fees through no fault of my own.
It's a wonder these guys got sued so many times for robo forclosures.
Burn in hell.

They didn't leave a message when I didn't pickup their call... I am late in paying my mortgage, about 3 months late... so if it is Wells Fargo Mortgage, it would make sense that they called me...

this number has called relentlessly throughout the day.  Wells Fargo bought out Wachovia ive heard and now their trying to use the merge as a way to collect.

I also have had up to 5-8 calls per day for 2-3 consecutive days each week, never a message, exactly the same details as all above, not related directly to a date of the month in my case. In other words my Wells Fargo mortgage payment is payed and I still get calls 8-10 days after the check has cleared with the bank.  EX: Today is July 14, payment due on 10th, cleared on the 6th, got 6 calls in the last 2 days!!
I get the same calls 10 days before the payment is due. I do not like this at all.
I am reporting the number to all concerned today. If this is Wells Fargo, as soon as the banks regain stability, if they ever do, I may consider another lender that has SOP.

This number called at 8:30 AM today,, the Phone display showed  Fredrick MD.

seems to have access to credit report and new current phone number that is unlisted and unreported; however didn't have other personal information that was listed in credit file as well as any other easily accessible information.  very strange and unsettling.  claimed as well to be wells fargo, in which we do have a loan through, but like i said, if they really were they would have all this information and wouldn't have the number they called because it hasn't been reported.

I've received calls from this number since Feb 2nd.  I'm not at all surprised to see other posts mentioning Wells Fargo.  I received calls from this number and others last month as well.  When I finally did answer, the man claimed to be with Wells Fargo mortgage.  He said that their process was to start calling mortgage customers if a payment was not received by the 2nd of each month.  I asked when Wells Fargo officially considered a payment to be late and he said not until the 15th of each month but they still start calling after the 2nd.  I have saved this phone and 909-658-0922 in my phone contacts as Wells Fargo - DON'T ANSWER!!!

i get calls from this number 8 to 10 times a day. when i answer, they hang up. and they always leave a 3 second messages saying nothing.

got 2 calls from this number today. First time no-one spoke when I picked up. Second time got a lady who claimed to be from Wells Fargo, then said I'd been called in error. Weird.

I've been getting calls from this # too. I called them back and a man answered saying "Thank you for calling Wells Fargo." I didn't wait to see what kind of credit card he was offering. I pled wrong # and hung up.

I just received a call from the same number - is your mortgage with Wells Fargo?

This # has been calling me for the past several days and never leaves a message.... its getting annoying.

I have been receiving calls from 240-586-8007 for several days now. In fact, they called before 8AM this morning. They never do leave a message. Who is it?
