Yeah just got a call from these douches too. I make it a point to keep a loud whistle with me at all times for just such an occasion. Gave'em a nice blast when I realized it was a sales call (I own a business, get these a lot). They've yet to call back.

That's odd. I have never rented a car from them that wasn't immaculately clean, filled with fuel, and almost new. In fact, last week I rented a Nissan that had only 10 miles on the odometer (ten miles!)...I was obviously the first renter.

Rented from Alamo the last 6 days. Returned it yesterday. Just got a call from this number but I didn't pick up since it was on my cell phone. I'm going to assume that Alamo made the call.

I also received a call from thid number. I did not answer,and no message was left. I too rented a car recently, so I think the source is enterprise. Judging by other comments at least.

This phone number is for a survey company.
Call 800-864-8601 to register your phone number on the survey company's do not call list.
If you recently rented a car with Enterprise, Alamo, or National, they could have only gotten your phone number from the rental car company. Post-sale customer service calls are not prohibited under law, so placing your name on the Federal Do Not Call list does nothing in this case.

Same situation as posted below. Rented from Enterprise last week. A week later I received my first phone call from Merit Survey Company. Four days later another call, all to my cell phone number. I've called the 800 number listed in the posts below and left my number on an automated system. This allegedly will remove it to their do not call registry. I never authorized Enterprise Car Rentals to sell or send my cell phone number to anyone- let along a telemarketer/survey company.
BTW: Survey companies may have some safe guards from the do not call registry (National).

I too rented a car last week from Enterprise. I cracked up about the banner ad that appeared for me on this results page. It was for Enterprise.
