Will no say anything phone number is on the national don not call list how are they getting threw.

This number is calling me 2-4 times per day, even on Sundays!! They will never leave a messagge.

Called twice today. did not leave any message.  he/she is annoying.

I NICELY TRIED TO TELL THESE PEOPLE I COULD NOT AFFORD TO DONATE ANY MONEY SINCE I AM RETIRED.  THEY KEEP CALLING - ANYTIME OF DAY (3-4 CALLS A DAY).  I FEEL THEY ARE DOING IT ON PURPOSE AND WOULD LIKE IT STOPPED.  I WANT IT STOPPED AND I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE PERSON WHO KEEPS CALLING FIRED.

been gettin this call for 3 weeks on my caller id is UNK, got no idea
who this is an they never leave an message on my answaring meaching
and I put my number on the do not call list, wish there is someway to stop

from mdfop. They call more than three times a day and have never said anything.My number has been on do not call list and yet they keep calling. Am really thinking about taking action because this is becoming so annoying.

Multiple calls from 240-699-8978 to my mother in law

This person calls at least 4 times a day.  I have asked him to stop and he immediately calls back.

getting tired of this number calling me  240-699-8978. 6/30/09 this is harassment by this person or people. they need to get a real job.

I found it to be a fishy call.  Caller asking for money for police families whose relatives have died in the line of duty. Worthy cause but serious fundraiser would not have a caller that barely spoke English, he could not even pronounce my last name.

After receiving the "police protecti-" caller id earlier today.

(have not looked out the window yet!)

Have been collecting internet information.

And what bothers me is if I go outside to get my mail, if I will be
approached and given a rude solicitation pitch - as has been
described by other post-ers here, in reference to phone calls.

4/29/2008- 12:45 PM- I did NOT answer call. Has called at other times but I did not record the dates or times.

A man called me telling my to give a donation for an officer was shot in the line of fire and now he is disable and some kind of blind. He also told me that most of people were giving donations between $54.00 and $ 27.00 so he asked me wich option I would like to take. I told him that I would give less. he and then say how about $22.00 so I agreed.
he said that I was was going to receive sort of a package with some stickers that I could be able to stick in front of the door of my house to show that support the Police Department. Then He trasferme to a woman who start to verify if my address was correct and if I lived in a House or apartament. She told me to send a money order or personal check as soon as I would recieve the package.
I Just want to know if anyone have got bad experience yet concerning this matter.

I go a phone call...no id, answered and was asked to make a donation to the MDFOP, some cop in baltimore got shot in the head...now blind.  The agreed to send out an information packet with a self-addressed envolope after I told them that I would not be giving out my credit card info over the phone.  I mentioned that I do not trust this until I see something official.  I have no problem supporting our police, but I didnt fall off the turnip truck yesterday.  After I was passed to a validation specialist (corny title), they already had my address, and I was asked for credit card info again.  There is a stipulation that you send out the check the same day you receive your packet in the mail, which again seems a little phishy.  I called the number listed on the MDFOP website and left my number for them to confirm my name and info is in there system for donation solicitation.  Will post again after I get the call back...

Someone by the name of Detective Leon left a message on my home phone number stating that he was calling about some harrassing phone calls.  He did not leave any information as to where he was calling from nor did he leave a return phone number.  The voice was very creepy and the person did not speak proper English

The call EACH and EVERYDAY, never leave any message just constant phone calls! I have no idea why they would call and not leave any message/messages!  i wish they would STOP CALLING!

Called about 10 times this week.  I answered everytime but the person hang up when I answer.
