Received a call from this number , did some research and found out that 240883876 and 2403181508 are some how connected. Cleaning services and scam agents under a company call MD heating and cooling. beware

I just got this call. She says I was in their office a few years ago and they are no longer with Citi Group.
Gave me an address in Gaithersburg and the company name of Primerica. I do not plan to go in.
Thanks everyone.

Finally spoke to this person. They are attempting to lure people to a marketing seminar at a hotel in Gaithersburg to make a presentation for Primerica, a company that supposedy does marketing for CitiGroup. Has SCAM written all over it. These mass marketing people will stop at nothing to have five minutes of your time to con you into giving up your financial information. They are just trying to sell a pyramid scheme.

I got a call from Marlene too. She left a vm stating she's offering an "opportunity" and claims my number was forwarded to her...whatever. well I don't have my resume posted on any job sites. sounds like a mass marketing campaign for a company like Aflac or Primerica.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I have my resume posted on Careerbuilder, but normally I have people e-mail me not call me. I received no e-mails from this company. The lady who called me said her name was Marlene, and she was very pushy. I had my friend answer this unknown number to me, and she repeatedly asked to speak to me. I told her I am a student, and she said they have flexible schedules. She scheduled me in for an interview today, and I looked up the company before deciding whether to go see them. I called Marlene said I wasn't interested, and it doesn't go with what I want to do in the future. She just continued talking, and I told her again I wasn't interested. She said " You are not interested in something you don't know," and chuckled afterwards. Be wary of this company.

just received a call from them and remembered to ask for the name of the company. she seemed a little put off and started to stutter a little bit, asking me what i meant when i asked for the name of the business. She told me Primerica, going on and on how she needed people to help train other people. I told her I wasn't interested, asked me why I wasn't interested. I told her I wasn't interested in the financial aspect, and continued to go on about how they need people to train others. Finally told her I wasn't interested and hung up.

Marlene, no last name, no company name, number calling from is a cell, opportunity in city where I live, my background and experience a match, vague and brief. No way.
| Kaur 2011-06-06 20:44:09 Unknown |
she told me the same thing as everyone said above. I am not going to meet her now. I have been trying to get a job and who would call me like this to get the job without saying who the hell they are. I told her, I applied for couple of jobs, who is this. She didn't respond well.

Answered her call at 6:47 pm 10/20/2009. I felt strange because a company recruiter would not contact you this late.
She said Citigroup is opening a branch in the city I live and needs someone with finance background. (She didn't say which company she is representing.)
She asked me to meet her sometime tomorrow. (It is strange that a stranger whom you have never met would ask you out.)
I asked her to send me an e-mail first if we would meet -- to check which company she is representing and what position is opening. She refused.

Just happened to me today. Caller left a message, stated name of Marlene. Said something about receiving my resume, and left this phone number without a company name or specified position. Recently put up my resume on careerbuilder.com
Kinda letdown...Thanks for the info though!

Received a call from Marlene....same thing no company no info...if she calls back I will let her know I'm not interested. Thanks for the information.
| Mikey 2011-06-06 20:44:09 Unknown |
I got her call with no details regarding the company. only saying that i could be a perfect match for the non-mentioned position. Most troubling is that when the phone rang, I didn't even have the time to pick up... lasted 2 secs before going through voice mail, leaving me no chance...

Same call, same person, no company name. With my resume on all the job boards, it is not uncommon for me to receive similar messages - typically via email. This call was a first. Thanks for the info above.

Claims to be responding to resume on CareerBuilder.com. I never applied with them or sent a resume. Was not home when call was received, but they left a nice, soft spoken message. Caller did not state which compaay she worked for on the message. When I called back I got a voicemail box with a standardized greeting. Google brought me here. Details still unknown.

Says her name is Arlene or Marlene. Not Sure Which. Still have not been called back. Seems fishy.
