Recieved a call on my cell phone, didn't recognize the number so I let it ring through so that my voice mail would answer. There was no message left. I did a search here online and it seems this number is coming from the Bahamas? I can't find and area code that matches it. Why oh why can't telemarketers and scammers leave our cell phones alone?

I got also a call from that number since I didn't recognize the number i let it ring , when i called them back  i got a message the number is not in use .

Unsolicited call, received it before (thru 2009) and ignored it. This time answered it and got open line- - no response

someone called from this number to my land line phone with heavy music in back ground.  they called me twice today.  no one spoke.  i do not know anyone in the bahamas.

Got 12 calls from this number in the past 2 days. They call nonstop and doesn't leave a message

Got Called twice from this number this week.

They just rang and asked for the people who used to live here, over a year ago, so clearly a telemarketer with dud info.

Continuous phone calls, when I answer music is playing then they hang up.  Tried to call the number back and get a recording message that all lines are busy please call back.

i just hung with this chick, probaly Indian cause of the accent. she was asking about my beauty regime. so i answered all of her questions. she apparantly know my address, phone # and name. i called back the number two minutes later and its been disconnected
now im thinking to myself was it a safe thing to do??? im scared.

I got a call from this number at work.  It said "BAHAMAS" under the number on the caller ID.  I answered the call and was told that I was due to renew my workmans comp insurance and they wanted to give me a quote.  I told the man that I was doing the research and that I would handle from whom I wished to receive a quote as we do not permit solicitation.  So I asked them to remove us from the calling list, thanked him and hung up.  He ACTUALLY CALLED BACK SIX TIMES!!!  I AM NOT EXAGGERATING!!!

Ask for me in my maiden name and said my number had been selected to receive a new cell phone from sprint.

Received a call from this number - man with a strong accent asking for Accounts Payable, then asked when we renew our insurance.  I told him he needs to speak to the owner of the company and he hung up on me.

I got a call earlier asking for information on insurance renewals... when he asked my name, I gave first name only, he asked again,and I started to get irritated.  A few hours later he called again, asking for someone using my maiden & married last name, of which I replied who?? and they hung up...

Caller ID showed Name Not Found, 242-993-8040.  Gentleman asked for office manager. Said he was calling on behalf of the Allen Thomas Group.  I told him we weren't interested.

called saying he was from the federal government and was signing people up for the national do not call list. i told him not to call back and i hung up.30 seconds later he called back and told him again

Just got a couple of calls today from this number and same Thick Accented dumbass.  I asked him to remove our number from their list but he refused and had the gall to tell me i was giving bad service?!!  I'm hoping he calls back again!! :)

Just got a call from this number. I'm glad I didn't answer after reading all of this, but they did not leave a message. ID reads "Name Unavailable."

Call from this number about 10 min ago.  Man with heavy accent called me by name, then asked to speak to my husband.  I asked who was calling and he said "This is National Guardian, and it's about the credit card debt."  I told him he had the wrong number because we have no credit card debt.  He just said "oh" and hung up.   Never heard of National Guardian, and we DON"T have any debts.

These guys are phishing for your secure info...don't bother to answer if you get a call from this number!

These people have called our number everyday for the last 3 weeks .  Men with thick Indian accents, impossible to understand trying to sell long distance plans to India.

Got call from this no. and  peron on phone want to sell the long distance when I refuse then that abuse and say that he is calling from US and can't do anything that is really wrong and the company own this bussiness know that what kind person sopose to hier and to not hier and if they think that they will never be catch then they are wrong

I keep getting this caller on my cell too...and keep ignoring it...people will scam to no end...but no one will be able to scam me...buggers!

I just got a call from this number about 20 minutes ago.  It was an indian man with a thick accent, who sounded like he could have been drunk?  he asked me what i was doing... i replied who is this?  He didn't reply i asked again who is this and he replied this is Rajesh, and i asked who would u like to speak to he said you... i said what do you want he replied whats your problem, i asked again what do you want and he replied friendship with you... at this point i got a little creeped out and hung up.  He hasnt called back

I received a call from a guy said i did a survey and I was chosen to win a free phone from T-mobile. He wanted me to verify my information and I told him if he is with T-mobile he should know my information. These people are very suspicous. I end up hangin up in his face because i told him i had to go and he was still trying to talk.

Said "hello?" three times to my answering machine. I almost picked up because it sounded like a guy I work with, but when I hit *69 I did not recognize the number at all. Now after seeing this page, I'm glad I didn't answer!

I just got a call from this number, answered, (cause Im crazy like that) I said "HELLO" all annoyed like in a stern voice, they hung up, did not say a word LOL! Thanks everyonf for posting, cause I just had to look it up :)

Got a call this morning in my office cell phone. when answered, no response and eventually hunged up from the other side after 5 sec.

didn't recognize the number so I let it ring through. They didn't leave a message, so must be a telemarketing call, as the area code is not local.

incoming call at 10:15 local time. Did NOT reconize number, did NOT answer, no msg. left. Thanks to all of you that help min. the cost to my cell bill.
