I am getting calls from this number to my office.  They keep telling my staff it is a "personal matter".  They have been calling daily.  Call says it is from Oxford, MI.

This is NOT a bill collector, I don't owe anyone...MORNING...NOON...EVENING and NIGHT the calls are coming....I pick up the phone without saying "HELLO", knowing it's the same caller and put it on speaker to hear if I hear anyone, sometimes it's silent, other times a women will ask for my husband...I am SICK OF IT!!!!

Walter - Screw the phone company. Have your lawyers call the  Federal Trade Commission and demand that these idiots stop using the SalArmy's name and stop making these calls. Phone company only wants the money.

Had 7 calls fro this number in last 10 days. All came up "Oxford, MI" on caller ID. Didn't answer any of them. Thank you, 800 Notes, for providing this service. I've been monitoring all of my unsolicited calls for the last 30 months. I have recorded hundreds of different numbers, some multiple times. I currently have 87 on my 150-number call-block bank. DoNotCall law is crap.

This number calls me daily. I just returned the call and the message says something like this... this is the donor care center for the Salvation Army. We tried to call you, and are sorry we missed you, but we will call you back another time.  Very weird, seems they expect a call back.

248-236-5047, Oxford Michigan, calls every day, never leaves a message and sometimes hits the dial tone button for 10 seconds when the answering machine clicks on.

I started getting calls from this number about a week and a half ago. They call at all hours every day and leave no message.  They called this morning at 9:3am. It's highly annoying.

Two messages in two days to my cell phone.  No message.  WTF?

Constantly getting calls from this number.  Who ever it is never leaves a message.  It is quite annoying.

I'm receiving fairly consistent (and annoying) phone calls from the phone number (248) 236-5047. I generally screen my calls and the caller never leaves a message or otherwise identifies himself. I would appreciate an
end to these calls.

Having the same problem as the others. Calls early, before 8 am and also late into the day. No one is ever there, or they hang up the minute I pick up the phone. It is extremely disruptive to my schedule and my work here at home. I will be filing file a complaint on this number.

Have been getting these calls on both my land line and my cell phone.  Yesterday got a phone call from this number, and not having checked the phone, found that is was off the hook for over 24 hours!  Had to recharge the battery.  This is not good.

I have put both my cell and land line numbers on the National Do No Call list - but that does not have any effect.

I finally answered the telephone just to see who was calling me from 248-236-5047. It turns out just like others have said that it was some one for the Salvation Army. What they said they wanted was to send me paper and in turn wanted me to turn around and mail out those paper to other people using me as there postal provider. NO THANK YOU to that.

This call is probably from the Salvation Army, farmed out as described above.  However, the caller is rude, and although I have asked them to 'take me off the list' , they obviously have not.  I went to the Salvation Army web site for my location and left them a polite but succinct email requesting removal.  I hope that finally works.

I have been getting calls from this number almost daily.  If this is a call from Salvation Army someone is doing them a great dis-service.  This will not be tolerated and should not especially when my phone is on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

Same as everyone else...They hang up and I call back but hear nothing. I will take it that it is The Salvation Army as I only see "Michigan Call" on my phones ID.

I get one to two calls a day from this number, and, as others have said, there is no one there when you pick up.  I called my phone co and they said they can't do anything about it, and to file a report with the police dept, who could do something about it.

The phone number you are referring to does not belong to the Salvation Army Oxford store.

They call my number from morning until 8:45 at night.  Very annoying.  No one is there when I answalliner.  Try calling back, but just get a busy signal.  How can I find out who this is calling?

I would really like to know how you determined it was The Salvation Army. I just called them and the person who answered, Caitlin, said that is definitely not them. She has received other calls from individuals inquiring about the same number. She said the ONLY time they ever call people is if they have purchased furniture and never pick it up.

It makes no sense that they would repeatedly call and annoy people.

I am getting these calls too,  at all hours, and they are annoying.
From the search engines that show the  mapped location of the landline, it does look like it is from the Salvation Army location in Oxford ( I live in the next town).I am going to write a letter to the Salvation Army in Oxford.  You should too!!!
