It's PayAnywhere, if you have a PayAnwhere account sometimes they will call to verify your information.

called and said they had an application to a Processing Credit card... said my fraud alert kicked in and they needed to know if it was fraud or did I apply.!! the lady that left the message sounded very old ..

Receiving calls from 248-269-6000 for no reason at all. We need these calls to stop.

Unwanted solicitation for credit card usage

It's a credit card merchant. I managed to get through to someone by pressing 1 for technical support several times.

It turns out my business, which uses a service called PaySimple, uses this company for credit card processing.

The tech support forwarded me to PaySimple, I complained to them, and they said it's most likely an issue with the processor and they're looking into it for me.

They are tying to fax my cell phone every week ...I want it to stop

Just took care of the problem. Just go to their website and do a live chat with one of their customer service agents. Tell them what is happening and they will pull your phone number from their fax list.

Caller is calling my cell phone 8-10 times a day. When I pick up, it is a fax machine on the other end.

Just as an update to my post, I called up customer service they had my cell phone listed as my fax number, the representative changed that for me. Likely that have some issue with the website just adding it into all the fields.

Also it was PayAnywhere.

It just BEEPS over and over. It's very annoying honestly.

I applied for a credit card reader - PayProTech.  I now receive at least 2 fax calls a day to my cell phone number from 248.269.6000.  I tried to call them and ask for removal and I couldn't even get a live person...just an answering machine.  I left a pretty nasty message and told them that if I continue to receive these unwarranted calls, I will send the card reader back, and, I will not only report them, but I will also look for remediation.

Stop trying to fax something to my phone.

They are a company for getting a device that hooks up to your cell phone so that you can receive CC/Debit payments through your phone....like swiping your card at a retail location. They were offering one for free so I thought I would check it out to see what all was involved with the device (charges, % rates, etc.) I entered my cell number and hit 'next'. Next page was for CC info. I clicked out of it and they've been bugging me ever since!

been receiving this call for awhile first was a fax sound now it is the 248-269-6000  ...

I signed up for PayAnywhere over the weekend.
I didn't answer the call when they called, but I'm assuming it was because of that.
I guess I will see, the next time that they call.

I signed up for NAB free app on iPhone and ever since then I have been receiving fax machine calls to my cell # daily for 3 weeks. I called the company to complain and to cancel my service. The calls keep coming! Ugh!

I recieved a call from this number unwarranted.

It's a company that sells products to small businesses in order for you to charge your customers CC for services you provided using an Iphone or Android app...
