got the same recording......whats up

Received a  call on my business line a couple of minutes before 9 pm. I did not answer, but heard a recorded messsage from Stacy which was an offer to lower my merchant account and it would only take 6 minutes if I were to call the toll free number.

I got a call from this number a few minutes ago. I didn't answer the message is for Credit Card Processing. There should be a law against this!

Got the call at 20:38 central time, at my business. Recorded voice said " sorry I must have gotten the wrong number". Possibly someone doing some telemarketing baloney and did not want to talk to a live person.
Who knows.

Same as before. Recorded voice "...wrong number".  Not going to call them back though based on the above messages.  Who do we report this to? The FCC?

Recorded voice: (sweet young thang) "...... wrong number".  They also use 248 283-6062.  Notes on that one say people who call them back get billed $16 by a 3rd party carrier--hell to get off your phone bill.  Folks there said they're checking for live numbers to forward to telemarketers; some auld bich calls later trying to sell financial services......

I would like to know who is calling my phone so that i can address them about this situation

I received this call at my office just minutes ago (Sunday). I answered 'hello' and heard a recording (female voice - Stepford wives style) that said something like 'Sorry - I must have called the wrong number.'

They said that they wanted to make sure that our processing fee was at 1%.  She gave an 800# to call back.  However, i don't think it will.

Same irritating recorded scam after bedtime Sunday night. I voted libertarian in hopes of dismantling the telephone oligopsonies and holding them liable for this kind of abuse.

Answered call buy nothing on the other end.

called at 8:10pm children were in bed and woke them up.Its not the first time.Im on the no call list.

Possibly phishing?  it was a recording and bull.

I got the same call this evening (Aug. 17), reached me in Virginia at 8:00pm Eastern.  Pleasant sounding female voice, "I'm sorry I must have a wrong number" and hung up.

I answered and a recording said 'I'm sorry I must have a wrong number' and hung up. Weird.

This area code along with 809 has been known for some time as a scam device.  www.snopes.com has data on it's effects.  DO NOT CALL THEM BACK.  There can be charges on your bill.  BEWARE.

please stop calling my place of business you dont have permission to call now or ever.

Don't know who this is
