Rec'd a late night junk marketing ph call from 248-283-6062, recognized the "248-283" portion, did not answer. Nothing in voice jail either. Dirtbags calling at this hour of the night should be shot. - [8:56 pm]

Surely that's illegal. It has to be.

Called at 8:52pm on 3/23/09.  Canned woman's voice says "I'm sorry, I must have dialed the wrong phone number" and then it clicks off.  Probably a way to sell our phone number to a telemarketing service.  Also, I'm on state and federal "DO NOT CALL" lists.  What a pain.

This number called twice around 8:45PM.  The automated system said they must have the wrong number both times.

called @ 8:00.  I hate robots calling me.

They called and music was playing.  No one answered when I spoke.  It is so annoying to be busy answering calls for my employer's business, and then to get these junk calls.

I just received a call from the 248-283-6062 at about 8:10 PM. No one answered. I said "Hello" twice and hung up.

Same as the other complaints--no answer then a womans recorded message"Sorry, I must of dialed wrong number"   I called the number and they will take your number off calling list--call the number and they will let you know how.  I did and i hope it works.

Called me at 8:55pm and got the same - a recording said "I'm sorry, I must have dialed the wrong number."

They are computers!  They only leave VM, they DON"T WANT TO TALK TO LIVE PEOPLE!

Best advice:  Pay a little extra to BLOCK their number.  They can disguise their origin from the computer, and you will NEVER KNOW from where they call.  So, just block the INCOMING number.

same recorded voice ocurred three times over 3-4 week period. dialing after business is closed (really late) i'm concern about security breach ie casing the joint now i got same voice and a new number on caller id 7025201275

I got a call from 248-283-6062  and heard a female voice message: " I'm sorry I must have dialed a wrong number " and then hung up. I think this company and their associates must be sued for violating the public personal time for their gain. A class action suit is perfect for them and hopefully, they have enough money to pay everybody.

please stop call if this is a sales call i am not interested.  Your call wakes me up in the middle of the night.  I live in Hawaii and there is a time difference from the mainland.  do not call list.. add me to this list. today.  no more calls.

got the wrong number, then I have gotten to recordings about lending me cash gave an 800 # to call. In the days when they had big banks of payphones at airports I would call these numbers one after another and leave the phone hanging, going up and down the row. passes the time on a layover.

Stay on the line as long as you can and runn there phone bill up as much as you can!

I have done this,
I stayed on the line quite awhile and I just listened and did not say anything and they kept transfering me to different people and companys (This all started out with a add for loans) I then got sent to a dentist office, A beauty Saloan, A disconected phone number, Voicemail ETC... AND THEY STILL CANNOT HANG UP!!! O THE IORNEY. LOL I THINK I HAVE BEN ON THE LINE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR NOW! I just set the phone down and I went about my day. This is "GREAT" I think I will waste a bit of there time and cost them money in the mean time!!! HAVE A NICE DAY Dave....

I just had another thought,
When you get un-solicited calls act as though you are very interested but you do not give out information over the phone.
Schedual a meeting if you can but do not give them your address give them someone elses like a pollice dept ETC... let them waste there time not yours. (MAYBE THIS WILL HELP IF THEM GET THE POINT IF NOT YOU WILL BE SURPRISED HOW MUCH IT WILL HELP YOU) I did it it really works & it can be alot of fun!

Annoying calls and they keep calling even when you tell them to remove your number from their database.

Same..Recording saying "Sorry, I have the wrong number" on my cell phone.

Yep, called me at 10:10 p.m. PDT on a SUNDAY night!  Glad I didn't answer and they are lucky they didn't leave a message.

Called our business number late in the evening on a Sunday(8:45 CST).  No message left on the answering machine.

8:25 pm I received a call and after answering it with my business name...I heard a woman's voice say "oh I must have dialed the wrong number" and I replied oh you did, did you? not realizing that it was a recording.  I see from what is posted here that it is thought to be a recording and we are the product(s).  Why do they want to see if anybody answers?  To make sure it's a working number and that it's not a fax or what?  To sell our numbers to a marketing company for a solicitor to sometime soon call us again with some flim flam marketing scam?  I have saved the number on my caller id and will not answer this again.  Perhaps I wouldn't be receiving a call from this number again but rather another number of a scamola marketing deal just waiting for me.  Well, darn!  They are not going to get us!  Thanks for all of your input.  Sandra

I received a call from 248-283-6062 at 8:37 pm.female voice said I'm sorry, I must have dialed a wrong number. I am on the do not call list and I intend to immediately report it on the do not call website as I do with any form of telemarketing or automated call. If enough people file complaints they will get fined by the FCC and the fine are not cheap!
