Got a call from this number, they didn't leave a message. I called the number back within 5 minutes and it said it was disco.

Have been called three times from this number in the last half hour, returning call says disconnected number

I get this phone call a lot.  I pick up and no one is there.  I was worried it was my husband trying to call from overseas.  I am really getting mad at this number and also number561-434-0879.  I want to block it.

Get a call from this number (248) 398-0249 several times a day. When picked up, no response, no message. Not sure what the scam or time-waster scheme purpose is, but it's annoying. Anyway to stop this madness?

I got 8 calls from this same number times within 48 hours.....WTF!!...I swear I might drive to that address and just beat the living crap out of who ever lives there !....first person that opens the door !

Do not answer calls from those numbers, because it could be one of those overseas numbers where the charge will be picked up by you by your provider because you still used the air time.  These are masked numbers, which means they are not real, they look like US numbers, but they are used to mask the real ones, it could be from Africa or Asia, so you might end up paying for all the charges.

I received a phone call from this number a few times now.
When I answer the line is dead.

248-398-0249 called me at 13:20. I didn't answer because I don't recognize that number.
The caller left no message. It is listed as a land line in Ryal Oak, Michigan. I called back
out of curiosity and received a recording saying it was disconnected.

I am on the national do not call registry I jsut went and re registered my number cause the registry but it does not appear to help.

this is an auto dialer ... they will not answer until you pick up, that is why it takes a few seconds for them to answer .... popular with scam artists and used for cold calling...

number 248-398-0249 called me 6 times in a row, right after the other. I did not answer as I do not know the number. No voicemail left. Tried calling back, said it was a disconnected number.

Yea, they keep calling me and when I returned the call I got the ole Disconnected recording.

I have started getting phone calls from this number numerous times a day.  I only answered once and was hung up on.  I called my cell phone carrier (verizon) and they blocked the number for me.  I highly recommend doing this!!

Got 2 calls from this number. Answered and they asked for a person that does live here but not home at the time. Googled the number and got this site. So I called back and got a recording that the number has been disconnected and is no longer in service. All of this in a matter of 5 minutes.

All caller ID had was the number 248-398-0249 and they left no message on our answering machine. We were not at home. Called 4:07 p.m. Central Time today.

I got several call from this number. I am pretty sure this are people that are try to rip us off. They ask me about my Visa or Master Card account. Them I call back a few second later and there is a recording saying that the number is disconnected. Freaking thief's be careful all.

I rec'd a call from this ph# & only can find it is from a landline from Mich..The caller said asked about my credit cards. When I asked why are you asking about my credit cards. He said he can lower my rates. Then I asked what credit card Co are you calling from he said this isn't a credit card Co.. Then I asked are you a loan Co he said no they are not a loan Co but they work with credit card Companys to lower rates. I said I don't think so & hung up.

Received call from 727-251-3821.  Answered... they clicked a lot then hung up.  someone was there.  it wasn't a machine.  When I get calls like these I enter the number in my phone's address book, rename it Solicitor, and then put the ringer on silent.  They can call again but my phone won't even ring and when I look at the call log I might see several "solicitors" in a day who didn't get to bother me.

This caller was asking me questions about pre-qualifing me to talk to a rep. of Eastern Financial regarding reducing my credit card interest rate. A rep. did call back later that day, but he was rather rude when I started asking questions about his company.  He didn't want to refef me to a website or mail me any information on his company.  He hung up on me rather quickly.  something seems fishy!
