Wow!! I'm so very curious, I got a call today from a Ms. King same thing very vague. When I asked if this position was commission or regular pay? She went all around the question.. My antennas went up instantly. She never did tell me, all she said Mr. Bolden will go over everything in my interview. Not going! Not interested. Thanks everybody

I received a phone call from this company on Tuesday  from a Gina.  I was driving and had to hang up when calling her back she seemed flustered  I am assuming because she had called so many people setting up interviews.   She was very vague about the position and asked some strange questions  about my leadership  qualities.?...  This location is in Troy  and after reading everyone's posts I called the number and was hung up on immediately in the wee hours of the morning.  I too will not be wasting my time here.

I got a message about a management position and to set up an interview from Kiara Williams 248-702-6360 in Farmington Hills, MI.  When I returned the phone call she didn't answer and I was put on hold until another person answered.  Not much information given to me other than they needed an updated  resume so that it would help them place me.  I too got the "dress professionally" comment.  All I know that the company is TorchMark, a subsidiary of Davis Agencies.  I am not going to the interview.

i don't think so ... he peruses online resumes for sales agents - co. has BBB accr.

734-281-8906 is the number that they are using now.  However, they are going by the name of American Income.  She addressed me by my name and called my phone directly, the only thing that raised a red flag was when she asked for my email address...  i thought to myself, if she got my resume from monster then why is she asking for it again?  I will not be attending the "interview" today.

I received a call but from 248-677-1281. My caller ID said the call was from Royal Oak. They said the job was a "leadership position" but were otherwise vague about what the job involved. I was told that the head of the agency was Paul Rumbuc. I scheduled an interview even though I do not intent to go. I was considering going and mocking them, but the interview is too far away to make it worth my time. I have received several of these call for what I call "fake jobs."

I received a call today from 734-281-8906 and they didn't leave a message. I called the number and got the voice mail of Amber Wallace, I left a message to have them call me back,they called back and the woman said they found my resume on CareerBuilder. She wanted to do a quick phone interview, and asked me to tell her about my self and my qualifications,and so I did. She said that this would be a real career change and they have a few different openings, including management training. I asked what the company does, and she said something about union members benefits. She said I would start out at entry level and they believe in working your way up, and no layoffs, so this was a secure company. I believe she said this because I told her that I lost my last job because the plant closed. Then I asked What the entry level pay was and she said 40,000 to 60,000 year. That right there was a red flag. No entry level pays that much!! But I didn't think of it at the time because I needed the job. She said her boss "Paul" does interviews on Wed. which is tomorrow, How convenient!! She gave the address of 20600 Eureka Rd. Taylor Mi. 48180 Suite 312. So I got home and was starting to get excited and kept thinking about it and how it wasn't sitting right with me. I kept telling my husband that somethings not right with this job. So I Googled the address and low and behold all this came up!!! I can't believe that this is still going on from last year!! Thank God for Google!!! Now I won't be wasting my time and gas. P.S. thought this was Valentines day not April fools day!!! Thank you all!!!?? Wish you all luck in finding a job!!! Also anybody who did go to the interview, please post and let us know what's up with the scam!!

I got a call from the same number today, 2486877790.  The person calling was named Melissa.  She said she saw my resume on Monster.com and wanted to ask me a few questions over the phone.  First she asked me to her about myself.  I stopped her and asked if I could know the company first.  She said the "Rumbuc Agency".  I said that I was not familiar with it and asked her what they were.  She said that there are a growing company looking to hire a manager and were interested in me.  Then she asked about my experience as a manager (which I don't have and is no where on my resume).  I fumbled around trying to make my leadership positions sound like management experience.  Even though I thought I represented myself poorly she kept saying "great!".  I think I could have said anything and she would have said that.  She asked what I looked for in a job as well.  At the end she said that they are looking for people like myself with good people skills and would like for me to come in for an interview this week.  She gave the exact directions past posters have said regarding the Troy location and said I could call her if I had trouble finding it.  My interview was to be with Paul Rumbuc, who wanted to meet me.  I should bring my resume, 4-5 references, and the attire is professional.  I felt a little suspicious so I looked up the agency and found all of these posts.  Feeling pretty disappointed  as I really need a job.  I called the number back a few minutes ago to cancel but it went to Melissa's voicemail.  I told her I looked the agency up online and no longer felt comfortable coming in for the interview and just wanted to give a courtesy call.

seems like you just wer'nt good enough to pay the state of michigan 300 dollars to obtain a license to sell health and life if you read the fine print you get reimbursed 3100 dollars after you start working i know because i payed the money and put in the work.

hah! desperate ? sounds like your the desperate one. They contacted me and I took the risk of joining and after 3 weeks was I was averaging 1500 a week. Its a fortune 300 company and for many of you who dont know thats better than fortune 500 check the better business bureu and new york stock exchange you'll be happy to see AIL right up in there.

why does everybody think just because its sales and insurance and commision that its some scam? if you have skills with talking to people and a good personality, anyone can do that job. They called me from monster and gave me the same talk, But i was working at popeyes making minumum wage so I said hell I have nothing to lose. Went in for an interview got licensed to sell life insurance and after 3 weeks I was making over a 1000 dollars and havnt even been to college. Im sick of this scam s***. dont be mad because you cant sell anything!

I received a call today from 2486877790 From a girl named Tina said she was with their HR department and had seen my resume on Monster, was wondering if their job opportunity would fit my expectations. I was busy at the time and told her I would call her back. From past experience, I always research a company first. Thank you all for the information. I got a call 313 215 0287 HARTMAN- a cell phone.  they did not leave a message so I called it back..a Mr Ward said he got my information on CAREER BUILDER and thought I would fit right in to what they need in their company WARD AGENCY, an agency working with union workers. He also gave me a number to call 734 281 8906. Address 20600 Eureka Rd, Taylor, MI in the Horizon building.


I set up an appointment for 9:15 am. Tuesday morning.

Is this a scam?? do you get paid on commission only?  is this a STAFFING company??? I am a receptionist/secretary. Not an insurance sales person. I am not going to jump through hoops for no job..

I had an interview today with them. Something told me not to waste my time so i didnt. Deeling guilty I called 2 times seperate time no answer. However the recording says they are " the ward agency" so i couldnt find anything so i typed in the address and i stummbled in this. EXACTLY what everyone said is the same pitch I got. Seems to be a little scam here. I dont remeber applying to them via careerbuilder. Ashame because ppl are looking for real work not bs.

I recieved a call just moments ago and was advised this was not a sales position and that they would relocate if i was put in a manager position. Sounded real good but then after reading the blogs realized that I had went to an interview with this company before and it took me 1:15 min to get there.

The Rumbuc Agency is a real company and it is not a collection agency... it an insurance agency.

Yes i am desperately looking for a job so i posted my resume on Monster.com and i received a call yesterday stating that they had seen my resume and thought i would be a good fit for there company, so of course i called back so finally today i get a call back the lady asked me 3 questions.
1. If i was a citizen of the united states.
2. If i had a valid drivers license.
3. If i owned my own vehicle.
Of course i said yes to all three, then she asked a couple of other questions and set up a  interview for this Thursday.
Now remind you i was not told what the company was, I was not given Any information about the company in return even when i asked what the company was all she told me was it RUMBUC, Now that i found very odd my boyfriend told me the last time that if they do not tell you the job that you are applying for then it is a wast of our time.
I had just went to a interview this last week for almost the same thing and it was a wast of our time and Gas.
I agree people are looking for REAL jobs out here not something that is not going to get you any were and they want you to pay money to become a part of there company.
