I also got the same message, which was headed with my first name and last initial. I have recently posted a resume on Monster.com. Not sure if they could have released my information, but the 12 year old getting the text makes no sense and is just un-called for. This person needs to be found and investigated. Pretty creepy.

Got a text from "Gary Harpe" tonite (1/9/12) ... super wierd & unprofessional. It read the same as above poster's: "... saw your resume and would like to talk to you about full time, part time and leadership positions @ PRI. Call me @ 248-419-4652. Be well. Gary Harpe"
Sounds like a schiester, or some kind of pyramid scheme. Any legitimate HR person/recruiter doesn't send texts, and if this guys is for real he should join LinkedIn. The first thing I did when I got the message was google his name and number, and this site is what came up. Shady.

I received a text message at 6pm tonight (Wednesday Nov 16, 2011) which said: "I saw your resume and would like to talk to you about full-time, part-time and leadership positions @ PRI. Call me @ (248) 417-4652. Be well, Gary Harpe." I was instantly suspicious of this because it is highly unlikely that a legitimate employer would make initial contact via text message. I did a Google search on "PRI" and found nothing that was of any help. I then did a reverse look-up on the phone number, and all that I found out was is that this number is a cell phone, most likely located in Southfield or Farmington Hills, MI. I then Googled "Gary Harpe", and was directed to this website ~ this name was associated with other phone numbers already reported on this website, but nothing under this number that I am reporting on now. I read a lot of comments with "Gary Harpe" mentioned in it, and it appears that he is with Primerica, which is a total SCAM!!!!! I have been to two "interviews" there in the past, and would never, ever consider any "opportunity" they may have. I am surprised that they would even contact me... they have contacted me many times over the last few years, and I have made it very, very clear to them that I am not at all interested!
