Caller ID shown as "Michigan call".  Based on what I'm reading, it's more than likely a spoofed number.
Would be nice if a traceroute can be done with a phone number as easily as an IP.

Caller ID said "Michigan call".  The phone number is supposedly from Troy in Oakland County. My humble opinion, however, is that it is more likely a spoofed number.  Didn't answer, and no message was left.  Oh well.  Guess it wasn't that important.

Got a call from this number about 6:45pm.Looks like QVD on caller id.Hung up when I said,"Hello"

Said it was for childhood leukemia.  Told them we do all donations via mail after investigating the solicitor.  End of conversation.  Looks like this will be a busy day reporting to the DNC site.  Try to get names and locations and tell them they will be subpoenaed for the violation.  It's fun to see what their response will be.

I never contribute to "professional fundraisers" because they rarely give more than 10% of collections to the charity and I wouldn't support this charity because of their conscious reliance on such an inefficient collection method.

What we're trying to do is help lift their spirits as they go through their cancer treetment. I'm with Innovative a professional fundraiser and we have not mailed out anything to you yet. This unwanted/unidentified call went unanswered and they left no message.  Getting so tired of these interruptions; wish they'd drop dead.

I got a number today 630-870-1931 caller ID saying QVD dont know who they are hung up on them.

I received a call today from 248-507-4158 the lady said she is calling for the leukemia foundation for children, I asked how did you get my phone number, she said the computer picks out the number and my name came up, I said how was that because I am on the do not call list. she said it did not apply to them, I said if I want to give to a charity, I contact them, they do not contact me by phone, she said they need my help, I said I told you if I want to give I would contact that charity, good bye and I hung up.

Calls constantly.  Unrecognizable # therefore, I don't answer.  Never leaves mesg.  Polling calls?  Elections are over long ago. It's now 2014.

Got a call from this number, didn't answer, no message left.  Caller ID said QVD.  Website called QVD International intercepted by Avast as a virus threat.  Number blocked.

This number calls all hours of the day and night.  We have caller ID,  so I am keeping a log of how many times they continue to call.  We are on the do not call list which is worthless,  its disgusting,  to have to put up with this harassment.  No one talks on the other end of the line, and if by chance they do say something,  the person or persons, don't even speak English!!   I work for a law firm, and we are looking into these harassing numbers very carefully and monitoring who they are.

Same thing just happened to me.  How annoying!

Called at 8:30 a.m. (local time) on a Saturday. Jack***es. Didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. Caller ID said QVD, whoever they are.

Just got call from that number the name displayed said QVD, which at first I thought QVC but why would they be calling me....anyway they did not leave a message just hung up right after they got an answering machine..love that caller id!!

It's now November, last day, and i have had two calls from this Michigan number. no message. With Caller ID i don't pick up either.

Rec'd a phone call fro 248-507-4158 at 8:58 pm from Michigan Call on 11/25. Have rec'd calls from this place in the past, I don't answer. I have friends in MI, but I know their phone numbers.  This starts every year around this time.  

I got this call too  didn't answer  I also have that Panasonic phone  its great but you have to cycle the blocked numbers to keep away the current scammers. I wish it had more  number spots  30 seems too small of a number in this day and age

In reading the comments, it seems like the number has gone from a political poll to a scammy-sounding Leukemia Charity, all with the same "QVD" caller ID.  Interesting.  Not interesting enough, however, to make me EVER answer their calls!  (Latest was at 9:51 am 11-19-13).
