You fools just give them some money, every little bit counts. They will stop calling then. Why can't you help a sick child somewhere.

I worked for directle Inc.for 3 years. Mostly for kids wish network. Here's the truth. One more than have of money raised goes directory to the kids wish network.  Celebritys participate in fulfilling wishes also. If  you give once we would call back I'd say but Not sure 6months later to see if you would like to pledge again.  We never ask for credit cards or bank account information. Kids wish network is a nationality recognized 501-c3 non-profit tax deductible charity.  Non profits are exempt from the do Not call list. Only thing I can say bad about directele Inc.is that there is a delay a couple seconds were you have to say hello a couple times. That's probably why you think were hanging up or your hanging up before the connection goes through. I haven't been with the company for a couple years. But they need to update there computers there using 1995 noble systems!  I hope this clears up some of the questions.  I answers them to the best of my knowledge.  And no were Not in basements or in different countries.  Were American workers.  Some of us in 2007 or 2008 took a 10% pay cut So more money could go to kids wish network.  It's better to call someone first than to just mail asking for help.

these people that call for "donations" are only in it for themselves.  they are non productive slobs that take too many drugs are low life addicts that work for a for profit business that represents d class charities.  it is a vicious cycle and people now know what they are all about.  cold calling is dead.

Caller wanted to send packet of information about this "charity". I would be given a few weeks to look over information. And did I want to give a donation. NO WAY!!!

Called but no one answered when I picked up.  Caller ID says 248-581-7971.  I too am on Do Not Call List.  There should be some sort of penalty.

I just recieved a call and when I redialed it I recieved a recording, "cannot make this call" so I used a land line and got a busy signal. LOOK you scam artists I live in Michigan and dont need want or desire anymore bulls*#$ in life!

ya, it's a scam.  i told them i will give them a 1000 dollar check for their charity.. the lady almost jizzed right on the spot.  i gave them a bogus bank account number and check number.  said my name was david johnson.

They have called me numerous times over the last week and never leave messages but they always seem to hang up after the answering machine is recording (so I get a blank message).  I too tried to call them and got a busy signal.  This is getting annoying.

Who is this number? They call and hang-up! Please do not call me! I am on the do not call list! Privacy matters to us that have a life! We do not have time for this!

Just call Directele & tell them to take you off the list.

I received a call from 248-581-7969 at 6:13 p.m. on February 17th, 2010. The caller I.D. said "Michigan". A woman was on the line and said she is from "Kids Wish Network". She gave me a long explanation of how her business helps make wishes come true for kids who are terminally ill. She said that George and Laura Bush were in their last newsletter because they helped send a terminally ill child to the White House. She had called for my mom and tried to get me to say that my mom would support this organization. And she said she'd call back later to try to get a hold of my mom so I'm sure I'll be back here soon!

I just received a call from 248-581-7969 at 3:12 PM on Monday, February 15th, 2010. The Caller ID said "Michigan." I answered, but they didn't say anything. Once I stopped saying, "Hello," I heard them hang up.

I see this number several times a week on my caller ID. Since my home phone is forwarded to my cell phone, I don't know which number they are actually calling. I have answered a couple of times but they had disconnected. It's getting annoying!

I answered today when this number called.  They asked for Sara and when I said they had the wrong number, they told me they were raising money for kids with less than 6 months to live and wanted to send me information.  Did not sound legit.

I finally answered and they identified themselves as Direct Dish Network. I filed a complaint.

Nuisance calls coming from 248-581-7969 & 248-581-7971 are from Directele Inc., which is a fundraising organization. Their headquarter's phone number is actually 248-591-4214. They are listed as "Licensed Charitable Solicitation Professional Fund Raisers." I contacted them and requested that they stop calling me.

I have received several phone calls from 248-581-7969 & 248-581-7971. They do not leave a message. I am on the "Do Not Call List." When I dial those phone nubers to complain, I receive a busy signal.

They keep calling me for several months now using the number 248-581-7969; asking for someone named David Johnson? Big Scam Solicitor!!!

This number shows up on caller ID, but no message ever left.  Tried to call, get busy signal.  Must be scammers.  At first I misdialed and got a message in English & French about an unassigned cellular number!   248 is the area code for Pontiac, Michigan.   Wonder what the deal is......

I have answered the number out of curiosity, but no one is on the line, so I hang up.  Must be a boiler room operation..... beware!

They keep calling me too. Dont we have ANY law enforcement anymore? These people are obviously CRIMINALS! Does some one personally know a politician or police officer that can be bribed to stop these calls?
