They call and say you are the winner of a drawing. The "prize" is a coupon for laser hair removal. Its just another telemarketer.

I would like for my number to be removed from the calling list.

It's a scam saying that they want to give you $300 in laser hair removal.

I don't think this is a scam, its just a sales call. American Laser Centers is an actually company.

I also recieved a call from American and have "won". I have been shopping around for pricing on laser hair removal and have not found this company to be that great. I decided to go to another laser company (Imperial) in Chestnut Hill. No "coupons", better prices and very professional.

The call came in about 2:18pm. I didn't get a chance to pick up the phone but they left a message. It is from American Laser Center. It seams that I ''also'' have one a $300 coupon for laser removal or skin rejuvenation. If you keep your appointement, you get another $100 towards your service. Wish me luck ladies, my appointment is tomorrow:o) LOL!!!

I received 3 calls from this number within 1 hour that I let go straight to voicemail. Apparently this number is in Michigan and I am in Florida.I never entered any contests , this has to be a random telemarketing caller that won't give up. I am on a pay as you go phone and AM GETTING FRUSTRATED

It was from the American Laser Hair Removal Center. I entered my information on a card at my local gym a couple weeks prior. They said I have been selected to receive a $300 coupon used for cellulite reduction, hair removal and sonething else- I cant remember what the third was.

Surprise!  I won a coupon from American Laser!  Did enter a raffle at my gym (stupid of me!) - what does it take to LOSE this raffle?

Just got a call from Debra. She said I won a $300 coupon...

so did anyone go thru with the conseltation and did some hair frying???  what did the $300 cover, just a toe???  I got that call just the other night and when I lost the directions, I googled thid number and 800notes popped up...

I entered a drawing at a street art festival thinking if I won the $1500 prize I would use it towards hair removal.  Tina called to say I'd won $300, which I could figure out how to apply after coming in for a consultation.  She refused to send a brochure in advance so that I could consider their services beforehand even though they had brochures at the event which I didn't bother taking.  She also refused to give me a lowball minimum price for hair removal services.  I told her I do not make appointments without having information in order to avoid wasting everyone's time and that if they could not send out a simple brochure in advance, I was not interested.  Total BS.

Just got a call from a 'Brittany' saying my dad won the $300 coupon from entering a contest online.

Joya called my cellphone, I did not answer. Looked up the number here and found out it belongs to a telemarketing company. Listened to the VM. They tell me about the $300 coupon I received and I am eligible to receive a treatment at a reduced cost.I am on the DNC registry.

Got a call from Tina as well. I think I will hire her to work for me! Like everyone else I won a $300 gift certificate too. May be we all should combine our monies and take in a gorilla, that would be interesting!

it is definitely American Laser Center.  Everyone is a "winner"...it's a business so of course they want to encourage you to come in for a consultation!  I entered a drawing with them at a bridal show and got a call today!  They aren't "telemarketers" just finding new avenues for new business.  I just called them back and said I wasn't interested right now and to take me off the list! I used to work for a place like that...they aren't trying to "scam" you, just doing their job - all you have to do is ask them to take you off the list! :)

I received a call from someone that said she was Tina and that I had won at $350 coupon towards services with American laser Centers.  She said I won it at the EWomen's Conference which I never attended.
She asked for my last name which I told her just to get her off the phone...bad idea!

Received a call from this number at 4:13pm on July 1st, 2008, saying that I was the 3rd runner-up and won $300 coupon...This is from American laser center.  I had entered in at a bridal show.  Guessing from this site that everyone wins.  Made an appointment anyway...I'm thinking that they say it
s $300 off when in actuality its not but I will try and find out and let everyone know.

Called my cellphone, I did not answer. Looked up the number here and found out it belongs to a telemarketing company. Boy am I pissed. I am on the DNC registry. This is the fourth or fifth telemarketing call I've had from various numbers in the last month. Used to work for a marketing company and know the relentless determination people will call  and recall numbers. Every one of these calls is a scam to get your money, no matter what they offer, whether it's insurance, prizes, coupons for money-off local services (like restaurants, dry-cleaning, groceries, etc.).

I have never had a problem with them being unsolicited.  You must have entered a raffle somewhere or it's a wrong number.  I see them in grocery stores, in tanning salons, in hair dressers, in malls, in magazines, or you can enter via their website or a promotion on TV.  Most of the time you fill out the card and drop it in the box.  I have "won" three times so apparently everyone that enters receives the third prize $300 off call.

lol I just got this call but I did not answer.  Actually, I did enter a contest for this on the channel 11 news web site.  I will contact channel 11 and see if this number is for that particular contest.

They left a voice mail on my cell saying I won a 300$ coupon from american laser.  Her name was Tracy.  I called back and I confirmed my cell phone number.  she told me it was the wrong person they have called.  My voice mail is French and she said the name wasn't the same.  Phone to call back was 877-252-4466.

I got a call from this number and it was also a rep (Rachel) from American Laser Center. She also said I won a $300 coupon good for any of their laser hair removal packages. I do know how they got my info though, and wanted to share in case anyone else may not realize how theirs was obtained. I went to a bridal show and they had many drawings for prizes from the vendors which included American Laser. So apparently they probably call all the people who entered their "contest" to tell them they "won" and entice them to come in. She asked me to return her call to (877) 252-4466 but my caller ID showed the (248) number.
