This number called asking for some database solutions, not sure if it was a scam or actual information seeking.
| Mark 2011-06-06 20:44:11 Unknown |
Called offering IT solutions. By the accent of the caller it seems that they are based in India.

Another call from Carrie of Mindfire Solutions trying to sell outsourcing - this after they had assured me that they had removed me from their list. This company is highly suspect.

Ya, same situation here, as with most of you. I have a small Web design business and some foreign sounding lady said something about wanting to work with us. I loved the part about the CMS. It is obvious she is reading from a script. I couldn't make out half of what she said.

Or just contact MIND FIRE SOLUTIONS! Use their contact form to spam them back!

We too got a call from Kerry today and she said that she got our information from our website and that they were interested in receiving programming work. If you listen to the back end at her side it sounds like a call center. I took her information down, but the trash can is where it will go next.

I started using Craigslist recently. Then today she called me, so I imagine she got me from there.
I too develop & Host websites, so why she called to offer me a site is strange.

called me three days in a row and sent emails...here's their website http://www.mindfiresolutions.com/index.htm
I have a small web business so I assume they found my site and then started spamming

The same thing as above. Hard to find out what she really wants or offers, but it seems like an oversees (India probably) IT company offering services.

Web developer here, same thing, I just have a policy of only working for local clients or well represented companies.
She/They are neither.

I also received a call and she claimed she was calling from adobe solutions and wanted to talk about building a website. It was extremely sketchy because despite the fact that I am a web designer I highly doubt adobe is calling out of the blue to have a website they have a whole team for that. More however she mentioned building the website on a javascript cms platform which would indicate to me she doesn't have the faintest idea what she was talking about (umm what content management system could possible be based on javascript). She also said some other stuff in her message which made no sense which is not that abnormal for somebody who has no idea how to build a website but there is no possible way adobe would hire someone to manage their web development team who does know the difference between client side and server side scripting. She also said her name was Karry. If you get a call from this number please be careful I'm sure this is a scam of some sort.

I got the same one! only 10 on friday! I told the lady she had the wrong number lol and then she just hung up!

This woman calling herself Karry has called me twice in one day from a blocked number and left 248-686-1991 as her call back number. She has also e-mailed me. I couldn't understand a word she said on my voice mail, but the e-mail said they were Mindfore Solutions and they wanted partner with me. They were very vague and it feels like a scam. I don't own a software business or anything.
