I got a call from "Michelle" this morning.  I was at work and she called my cell twice in a row, so the second ring, I answered.  thinking it could be an emergency? No... it was "Michelle Jordan" saying she has my resume and was wondering if I was interested in a position.  I told her I didn't submit my resume anywhere and she said, "I know, but I was just wondering if you were unhappy where you are or if you were interested in a supplemental income."
No thanks.  
Don't know if this is a scam or not, but I thought it was odd.

I didn't  received a call from this number however I did from 248-837-9627 this morning (3/17/2014) and the caller said her name was Michelle Jordan and my resume had just come across her desk. I called her back and told her that her name is all over the internet for scamming...........don't know what she is up to but told her to remove my name from her list and what ever scam company she is involved with.

I received a call from "Michelle Jordan" at 248-837-9627 at 4:30 p.m. on 03/13/14.
She stated she was calling in reference to my resume but did not disclose the company she represented.

I received the same phone call Thurs. I called back Fri. but it was after hours so I just left a message. I thought it was odd that they didn't say where they were from. Thank you for this post

I received a message from this Michelle person also. Immediately after hearing it i knew it didn't sound legit. its sad because i actually got my hopes up thinking i would have a job. How could she go to a job and have to give false hope to people every day.

I received a call from Michelle Jordan at 248-688-9481. My resume came across her desk and she called for an interview. No company name was given but I called the number back and left a message to get in touch with me...sad but true.

My friend I got the call a couple of days ago. Its Michelle Jordan of PRIMERICA!!! If anyone at that office in Troy, Michigan or anywhere else asking to come in to "view" a presentation...then it is PRIMERICA!!! I know, i get call to this location all the time!!!!!! THOSE ARE THE FACTS!! DON'T JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS!!!!

I got a call from Michelle to, saying my resume came across her desk and to call her back. A few hours later I looked up the # and got this. THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE HEADS UP.

Michelle Jordan has called me twice now. The first time I actually answered and told her I found full-time work recently and was happy, but thanks. She still asked if I wanted to make more money or something. She was really friendly, but weird and very vague.

i got a call from this michelle jordan and she said  the same thing to me talking about an interview tomorow at 631 big bever ..im so glad i tried to google the company name and found all this out

Searching for a new job, if I receive a call that doesn't have an identifiable business attached to it on Google, I never return the call. Always Google a phone number before calling back. If it's an employment agency, they may not tell you the specific position they want to speak to you about, but they will specify what company they work for.

Recruiters or HR departments always leave:  1) First/Last Name, 2) Name of Company, & 3) Return Phone Number.

If any of these 3 basic components are missing, it's not a conventional opportunity they're offering and you likely don't want anything to do with it.

I got the same message as well, called back today, got kind of leary when the phone call went to Michelle Jordan's voicemail because there is no mention of the company, or any information like that on her incoming call voicemail message.  I came home immediately and looked up the number and got this, glad I did.  Will not be answering the phone if she calls back.

I just recieved the same exact message "hello, my name is Michelle Jordan and your resume came across my desk".  I'm so happy I read these comments.

Received this voice mail on a Sunday, but there was no phone call preceding it. I had to listen to it several times, couldn't understand the pronunciation of the name, so I googled the phone number and came here. Glad I did. I've had enough experience dealing with 'job offers' from purely commission-based companies who won't tell me anything about them unless I come in for a group interview or seminar.

I got the same call with the same message as everyone mentioned. I had just sent my resume earlier today for a position and was hoping it was them calling me back. Dam it!!!!

Got a call from Michelle Jordan saying the same thing as everyone else, but the number was 517-353-5404. Add that to your list of numbers she uses....

Got call on a Sunday from Michelle Jordan from 248-688-9481.....she needs to think up something more creative.  Thanks for the heads up on this scam.  I dont want to waste my time on crap.

Even a corporate recruiter will reveal who they are and what they want.   They don't have to reveal the company they are recruiting for.
For example I got a call from Bob at Robert Half Technologies.  They identified who they were and what they want but did not reveal the company hiring.
The thing is that if it was a legit company, I would be able to google the number and have the company come up rather than 800 notes.
If your endangering someone by makinga phone call,  you shouldn't be calling their house.  call 911.

Got a phone call just now from her, don't answer numbers I don't know so I let it go to voice mail.
She said the same exact thing that everyone else is saying: "Hello my name is Michelle Jordan. Your resume just came across my desk, looking to fill full time and part time positions. Please give me a call back at 248-688-9481."
Clearly a scam.

Assuming it's Primerica or something like it -- they don't like to leave the company name because they know people don't want to work at 100% commission jobs...

I recieved a call from this number. I cant say I knew where he got my number as I did have my resume out there. monster.com or job search engines. either way i think most people can get a wiff of a waste of time or not by the phone conversation before wasting gas money or real time. If I'm just sitting around I might not find talking to someone about a job really wasting time..but rather hearing other options. As it was...his name was Dorian Wolf...at least thats what he said. Maybe it was a scam. Thanks for all the info!! ;)

Got same message from "Michelle Jordan" today as above... I am not responding - thanks to all of the contributors here!

I recieved a call from Michelle Jordan from the 248-688-9481 number today. I dont usually pick up random numbers so I let it go to voice mail. She said the same thing as the other posters that my resume came accross her desk. She said they are looking to hire branch managers. She wouldn't tell me the company name but she did give me an address. I dont remember the exact address but it was somewhere off of Big Beaver Road in Troy, she also game me a suit number but I don't remember the number. She also wouldnt tell me any compensation of the job either. It just seemed like a scam all the way to me. I work in the health care field, I have no business experience at all. It doesnt make sense why she would call me. I was not qualified for the job if it was real, which I dont think it was.

yeah got a call from these guys too.  What kind of person doesn't leave the name of the company they are calling from?

Just recieved another call from Michelle Jordan offering me an interview as they are supposedly looking to hire a few branch managers by the weekend. I think I'll pass. I don't work with scams very well. I didn't even send my resume to them and am not looking for a job. So it's funny how my resume ended up on her desk.
