Received call on landline. It displays as Children's Cancer. If you agree to denote but ask that they mail you out the donation form, they will first agree then they try to get you to charge it to a debit or credit card.  I believe it is an attempt to commit identity theft.

Today I answered and she asked me any lady at house . I asked her to talk with me but she hung up

Keeps bothering me....will NOT put me on DO NOT CALL LIST.....

Did not recognize the number. I did not answer....No message left.

I donated to polar plunge for special olympic's my family was doing the plunge, i believe they sold my number to this place and a few others cause soon as i gave everyone been calling, Never again!!!

Calls and calls leaving no proof recorded.  Despite foolish posters above this is not a left or right "wing" problem this is about corruption of a once-useful telephone system.  Lobbyi$ts book their state and local legislators each year and push against the people in the name of making bucks.  Distract yourselves all you want with gay abortion confederate flag garbage, this is all about revolving doors in Washington and Telecorrupt Companies voting for 'the easy way' at every step.

Call people names all you want, too.  It's a free contry for yacking, just not if it conflicts with big money.  And this Childrens Cance(r) isn't even a large part of it its just a HOLE they left open for their not your convenience and some smart techie found how to cheaply VOIP, fake, and link up foreign scam-callcenters like gypsies in our telephones.  And don't call these poor third worlders names, please.  You all left the door wide open with voting in ALL the corruptables.

I can't believe the way you all come here to argue & call one another names instead of simply stating your experiences with these unwanted, suspicious calls. Now I know where some of the children in this Country got their attitudes. At any rate, this number keeps calling me and I feel the way some of you do, we need to stop giving over the phone, PERIOD!!!!!

They didn't sound like a seasoned solicitor because it's an automated voice-response system that responds with pre-recorded responses. Hanging up is the only smart way to handle these scammers.

I received a call today asking for a small donation if they sent me an envelope via US Mail.  Before I could complete saying thank you for contacting me today, they hung up.  A reputable charity doesn't operate this way.  Also, the person on the other end of the line didn't sound like a seasoned charity solicitor.  I'm saying this is a scam.

Got a call from this number tonight, one of the many cancer scams that have been calling me.  Whenever I see "cancer" on my caller ID I know it's some kind of scam, which is sad because they're marring the name of the truly legit cancer charities.  The caller used my name and started her children's cancer spiel.  I told her I already knew they were a scam.  She kept talking over top of me.  I repeated that I knew they were a scam and would be reporting their number.  She hung up on me.  I'm so tired of these effing people using cancer to scam the naive and elderly.  Wish there was more that could be done to put these people away.  

I have ask repeatedly to be removed from their calling list. % times they have ignored my pleas and insist calling again and again.

Yet another call, after months of silence.  Children's Cancer Charity--one of the 10 worst charities in the US, so don't waste your money.

I have gotten calls that said  "Child Cancer before.  I don't answer any calls that I don't recognize.  I would not donate anything to someone that calls me.  I donate, but only to local charities and it is not by phone.  if I want to  buy something I will initiate the call myself.   No I am not going to get into the political piles of crap left on here by others.  To each his own.  This is about WHO CALLS.... GEEZE!  Calling this one a scam!

This number is associated with children's cancer patients...or so they say. The female's voice is a recording...that sounds pretty real. Just ask her a non-traditional question- you'll be put through to a live person. But you don't even need to do that, just ask the recording to "take you off their list"... the next recorded message says they will remove your number :)

I will be so glad when the holidays are over and these robocalls slow down. Last week it was Breast Cancer Awareness, Helping Our Heroes, Homeless Veterans and today it was Children's Cancer Fund. The only reason they exist, is they manage to SCAM money from some gullible
people by using the holidays to play on their sympathy. If everyone would wise up and donate money directly to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, these SCAMMERS would go out of business.

I don't donate over the phone, even I can have a website created and act like I am going to give all the funds directly to those I say need them. However they don't give but maybe a 1/3 if that to those in need.

They don't get anything when you tell them no. Sure they need a job and someone hired them to scam people to make someone wealthy. It is a shame they are giving other great places the down fall, such as March of Dimes Etc.

There should be a bill passed and unforced for those that are doing wrong.

They asked for my wife and when I got her to the phone this a** hole hung up.

day they will get tired and stop calling me.

This number called my landline and left no message.  I called it back and was asked to leave my phone number (which I did not leave as I DO NOT want them calling me anymore.)

I also received this call and same scenario as the rest.. I thought it might be a scam so I checked here.. My comment is, did anyone else get the feeling that the first person you talked to (mine was vanessa) was actually a machine and not a human? I got the feeling she was an interactive machine that responded to me, the next lady was definitely human though and also asked for a payment then.. glad i'm not stupid either!!!

This is not a legit charity. Try to call them back and you'll find out. No afonswer/ mailbox always full

This number called my land line this afternoon while I was outside and left no message.  Caller ID showed Children's Cancer.....

I got ANOTHER CALL from this number today - 248 817 3751 and she just kept talking and talking and talking even after I was shouting into the phone TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALL LIST - as if I don't personally know what it's like to have a child die from cancer, and what the hell did that organization ever do for me or my child except call and harass me for money after his death.  F**** every organization who calls me when I've registered my number, I am SO SICK AND TIRED of them CALLING ME for money and USING childhood cancer as the excuse.

Their asking me for money for cancer for children their address was a Mcdonald resturant address.

I will not answer so keep calling me and I answer immediately answer and hang up immediately.  I am also on do not call registry.
