Received a call from (248) 846-8653. When I answered, I heard nothing except some faint noices but no one was there.

I just got scammed and need to report this company.  I called back and the call will not go through.....not in service.

Just recieved call on my cell phone again (see 18 Apr 2012 mesage from me).  My cell phone# is in the 248 area code even though I live in New Mexico.  No message left.  If the caller didn't leave a message it's obviously not important.  I will disregard this call.

Robo call promising saving on natural gas.

Due to the local area code, I answered the call. It was a solicitation call with an automated recording about changing gas companies. I can't remember the name of the gas company, sorry...

Call was trying to get you to change natural gas company. They said they were calling me as a Mich Con customer. Ahhh, Mich Con is not my service provider. Put the number on my reject list.

This number called did not reconized the number will not anwer.  get the picture.

Answered call, no response.

I just want to say that this is an excellent website, and to those that post here, thank you so much for reporting these calls. I now have a place to go whenever #'s I don't recognize (such as this one) call my house repeatedly. Thank you for saving me the trouble of answering this call ;]

caller id says unknown name. answered call...got a recorded message saying due to recent deregulation i was eligible for a new plan for gas on my con-ed bill. gave me 3 options, one was to get an operator. i pressed it, got a recording telling me to get my bill ready. when operator answered (very busy background noise...obviously a large call center) she asked who she was speaking to. i gave her my name and told her i was on the do not call list and i wanted to not be called anymore. she promptly hung up. very rude.

This number call my landline and both cells......have no idea who they are but am on the do not call list for all 3 phones......leave us alone

Got a call from this number, called back, said number was no longer in service, this is a recording.

Received a call at 9:44 pm on 04/19/2012, recording said they were from Consumers Energy and I was eligible for a new discount on my gas bill and to cancel current program I was on press one (I am not on any gas savings programs) or press five to speak to a representative, I pressed 5 and recording just started over again.  I hung up and tried to call back and recording says that number is not in service.

It is a scam to get you to switch gas companies. Am reporting it to the Do Not Call Web site, you should too. Then call your US congressman to find out why the Do Not Call is not fining these callers. Not prosecuting the offenders means the law is meaningless.

Very very tired of having to stop what i'm doing and answer the phone only to find no one is there, or worse yet, some annoying sales person that won't shut up when you tell them you are not interested.  I think fines are called for here.  Start small, and let them get bigger the more complaints they get.  It's gotten WAAAAAAAAAY OUT OF CONTROL! :|

248 846-8653 Answered the phone, no body said anything.  Can't we do something to stop these annoying calls.  What about fining these people.  You have to stop what you are doing and answer the phone only to find it's nobody, or an annoying sales person like i have 15 minutes ago, who won't take no for an answer!!!  I'm damn tried of it, and i bet most other people are also. :|

This is the 2nd or 3rd time someone has called from this number in the past two months.  It is a landline phone in Holly, Mi but when called back the recording indicates that this number is not in service.
