repeated calls on caller I.D.

My husband received a call on his cell about 20 minutes ago saying that our account had been frozen.  Recording never mentioned what account but to only press 1 to be connected to another department.  We don't have credit cards and I already knew my bank account hadn't been frozen as I had just received my daily text from the bank.  Total scam.

I forgot to mention that this call was made to my cell phone.  I use my home phone for a contact #.  I had also had my VISA cut off last week because of the Sally Beauty security breach so wasn't sure if this was legit.  I was in the car so couldn't look up the # on the computer.  I stopped in to my bank and they said no one from there had called me.  Whew!

Rec'd call on 3/24/14 at 5:23 PM.  Answered.  Was a recorded msg; the beginning was cut off.  "...Your account has been frozen.  Please press 1 for our fraud dept."  Waited, pressed 1; got disconnected.

Same as.Teri M. Called back got.a."BET 01 this.number.cannot be.completed as dialed"

Received call from this number at 5:10 p.m.  Answered call, it said my 'account had been blocked" or some such nonsense, and asked me to press 1.  I did nothing, call disconnected after 23 seconds.

Received phone call on my cell phone; did not recognize the number so did not answer; no message.  It appeared with a 1 in front Birmingham, MI underneath the above number.

I received a phone call from this number at 6:36 a.m. stating similar information as posted already (ex:  Mastercard/Debit card has been compromised and to press 1 to speak to a representative). I hung up as I knew that my bank did not have my cell number on file only home number.  I called my bank directly they assured me that my account was not compromised and this was probably a scam and to hang up was the best practice.  Hope this helps someone else.  

I received a call from them on my cell phone saying my MasterCard has been compromised, funny thing is I don't have a MasterCard...  Hung up on them...  

Received a complaint from 2 women who received phone calls on their cell phones saying their Mastercard had been compromised.  The number says "it cannot be completed."  Appears to be a bogus number with an obvious scam.  Mastercard reported no activity for either women.

Received a call at 9:06 am. Ignored it. No voicemail. Scammers.

I received a call at 9:30 PM  ignored it. No message was left. I then searched the area code and checked this site to see what was going on. No idea....

was suspicious right away, number ID on phone showed the number with the 1 in front of the number. did not answer, no message left.

2:43AM I received a call saying my MasterCard had been compromised.  When I called back I received a message from Michigan Health and then I called back again about 4 hours later and I received a sleeping person saying their phone number was being used for a scam.  I don't understand how that works at all.
