got two calls from southfield MI

It's the breast cancer society looking for a donation

calls and hangs up and calls more then once a day

Called and did not leave a voice mail.

Received calls from this number 3 times today.  I say "hello" repeatedly and there is no response...although you can tell that someone is listening.  Very annoying.  I will not be answering when I see their number on caller ID anymore

Have called about 20 times in the last week. At least 3 times a day.I answer, nothing is said so I hang up.Tried calling back , busy signal.

they called and asked for my wife, saying they had talked to her before (which is not totally true since she had refused to talk to them before) then when I said we were having dinner they just hung up on me.

How can I block this number? I have Verizon, but I don't know the procedure.

Apparently fundraising for soldiers.  Wanted to speak with my husband, not me.

i have gotten many calls from them within the past week, i answer they hang up.  When I was able to speak to them, i advised i work for another organ. that helps wounded soldiers (independencefund.org) and that i was not able to help them.  the man screamed and was so nasty. I have just now called the phone company and they are blocked from my phone.  How sad that our brave men and women are being used by such crooks.  If they truly wanted help, they need to change their attitude and give 100% of the money back to the soldiers.  My organization does not keep 1 cent.  My son is an injured soldier and this burns me to no end.  I would advise all to not give a cent to them.

Received one call from this company and since the last time I checked there was no doubt I was a woman I was a little surprised when the man on the other end all but shouted "BRADLEY!"  When I told him he had the wrong number he did say he was sorry and hung up.  However, two nights later I received another call from the same number and when I answered the person on the other end hung on the line a few seconds and then hung up.  This was not a computer generated call, I could actually hear the person on the other end.  I have tried to call this number back numerous times only to get a fast busy.  Thankfully I do have a service with my phone company where I can block long distance calls so I won't be bothered by them again, at least not from this number.

These guys called up today asking for donations to fund care packages for soldiers overseas.  I responded by stating that I thought it was a very worthwhile cause, and I would be interested in supporting it, but that I wouldn't make any blind donations or commitments over the phone, since I had been scammed by fraudulent organizations before, and advised by my local police never to make such donations.  When I requested to have paperwork mailed to me, the caller got frustrated and claimed that his organization couldn't afford to carry out "mass mailings."  When I pointed out that a single mailing to someone expressing interest was not a mass mailing, he ended the call.

I got a call from this number saying I donated last year and they wanted me to donate again.  When I told them no the guy just hung up.  Sure, that's a great way to get my money.  Morons...

Here's some guys I've spoke to before, they are legitimate debt collectors, however they are guilty of using the strong-arm tactics we've most likely all seen before.

The call with some personal information (as they have your credit report) and of course they want more.

My big problem with these guys is they won't take no for an answer. So here's the initial info:

Upon the second call today (which I missed) I returned the call and requested a supervisor. They gave me an Account Manager: Dennis Pizza

They just called - asked for my husband. When I asked who it was they just said "dennis."  When i asked from where, they said "the FAV." I asked if he could be more specific and he said "just tell him i called," then he hung up.

That really does not sound like someone who wants a charitable donation to me does it?

They called me from the "Foundation for American Veterans". My dad used to give donations to this organization. I've looked them up online and found that  this charity has declined "to be evaluated in relation to the Alliance?s Standards for Charity Accountability" (give.org). Other sources say that just 6 cents of every dollar raised goes to services for veterans.
