the number was a robo dialer that was generating leads for Alliance security who was trying to sell alarm systems. When you wait on the line someone screens your call as being a "lead" when they find you are a lead they have a different telemarketer call you back.. that telemarketer tries to sell you a security system over the phone.. When you set up an appointment they ultimately have some poor contractor come out and get yelled at.

This number called me, and when i answered, there was nobody on the line. I hung up and called back twice but the phone was ringing busy. Must be telemarketers as usual. smh
