Got this number as a missed call

This number showed up as a missed call on my cell on 11/23 just after 4pm.

i got one a while back.. i'd say someones trying to turn One Missed Call into reality. Only, no one's died. not that i know of, anyway.

i got a call from this number on the weekend (sat dec 1/07) and i have an 807 area code in ontario...

I got a missed call on my cell @ 7:pm on Dec 1st. My area code is 416.

i think this situation is now affecting montreal (514) area. I just got this weird call also... and as described previously by many of you, it's a pre-recorded msge in spanish ... I didn't try to call back since I didn't want to pay for making long-distance call to track stupid scam number. I just send an email to my carrier company to ask them if there's any way to block/ prevent those kind of calls.  Maybe people can try to complaint to the phone company so they might take some action to stop this.

Got a call with a lady speaking spanish offering me some kind of promotion if i push on # 1 . Hope that this not happen again...

called tonight at 8:16 EST... I'm in the 514 (montreal) area code. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.

I'm in 514, i've got call todat at 8:20 PM. Answered but no one was there..

Unwanted called on cell phone. Hung up when answered.

Call 1.800.422.1199 and demand to have your number removed. They will deny it at first, then admit, then deny again. "Bryce" is the guy I spoke with and he's rude.

Also got a call around 1000pm on nov 29th. Missed call did not leave any messages.

got the call from 248.997.7626 on 28NOV around 10am on my T-Mobile cell phone - I didn't answer and they didn't leave any message.

my number is a prepaid phone that I have had for a few months and given out to NO ONE other than like 3 of my closest friends and the gov't DO NOT CALL list.

these f**kers need to be shut down - this is bull!

received a call from this # in sf bay area, verizon customer, didn't answer.

Got a call 2 minutes ago on my cell phone (801 area code).  Some spanish speaking recording.

Got a call from this number today - I have an 801 area code but am currently in the Dominican Republic.  I did not answer because I don't want the pay extra charge if I don't know who it is.  Left no message.

Received call from this number on 11/29 @ 11:03 am.
Didn't pick up the call. They didn't leave a message.
I am also a T-Mobile customer, with the area code 801.
How can we stop these calls? I'm afraid to pick up a number I don't know because of all these scams!

Yes there is an area code of 248 i live and work in Michigan and it is our area code, check your resources more carefully before posting.

they just hit me tonight around 7:51 pm east coast time here in NJ just like the guy above me, my cell starts with 848 also, i have a virgin mobile carrier. just did an aol search with the number and found sites like this one. i was hopin it was a secret admirer or etc lol. we all should band together and kickass

Got a call on my cell phone on 11/28/07 at 7:52 pm. I didn't answer it. I'm in an 848 area code (NJ).

I searched the number on the white pages and it says its registered to Focal Communications Corp. and it website is focal.com so someone should research more and see.

I just got that call also. My area code is 303 and my carrier is qwest.

I traced the number and it said detriot michigan

called and didn't leave a message. didn't answer b/c the number was unknown
