you spell it their not there fool

It recently came to my attention that someone is using my name and an old phone number that was listed to me for scam calls.  I am not associated with any of these calls and I am looking into tracing who has been making these fraudulant calls.  My apologogies that this didn't come to my attention sooner.

Telemarketing fraud phishing for credit card information.  Will also try to charge your credit card a huge fee  for "reduced interest rates" - for which you will receive absolutely nothing.

This phone # shows on my call dispaly but when I called it says you just dial the # that isn`t  in use.please check your directory or dial "o" thank you from Telus.

recieved a call from this number and when they asked for my card number told her to provide the number she has and I will verify her ,, I then wasted her time for a bit , then hung up ,, called Master card and reported it ,, she wanted the number on the back of the card the the 2 groups of 4 in the middle on the front ,, and when I wouldn't provide it she got a little testy ,,

I have reported this number to the Do Not Call Registry.  I would suggest EVERYONE do the same.

Is there a way to report this number and have it revoked or something.There must be away to stop these cowardly low life scumbags  who probably  hide under a rock most of the time untill they find some easy prey.

I got one too. hate these callers.  Always at dinner time.

I got a call from this number and a person saying that i was offered a lower 6% interest rate i already gave him the info but then he hung up but then i called my CC Group and changed my card so he is too late

and this was a East Indian person saying he was from Walmart Mastercard

I got a call 5 minutes ago and a voice mail states that I have been selected for a lower interest rate of 6 percent and it says dial 9 to speak to a custumer service then i press 9 and the other custumer service said that she will put me on hold coz there's a buzzing sound which i didn't hear so I just hang up right away.

If you don't want to listen to the whole message to delete it, press 337 while they are still talking and it will erase it immediately.

The National Do Not Call Registry's number is 1-866-580-3625. If enough of us place complaints, odds are better of them (250-223-8594) getting a hefty fine.

This "Lisa" recording called from this number about the already mentioned 6% credit card rate. This automated dialer left the same message IN A SINGLE CALL 5 times in a row on our answering machine. So annoying, had to listen to the whole thing to delete it.

I have received calls in the past and have asked to be removed from their call list, did not work maybe english is their second language!!!

this number ia constantly calling my home and when we answer, it hangs up on us!

just got a call from these guys too.  when i pressed 9 to speak to someone i got this guy i think he said his name was shawn but i can'r remember as i was too peeved.  when i cut him off and said i don't own a credit card how did you get this number he replied by telling me he spoke to my husband earlier and my husband had told him to speak to me.  by the sound of his voice he sounded a little slow or drunk either that or he was just being condenscending.  kinda like when you speak slowly to someone who just isn't listening to you.  anyway after him repeating what he was saying and me losing my temper and telling him over and over again i do not own a credit card my husband took over the phone and the guy ended up hanging up on him.  my husband says i guess he didn't like my tone lol  we tried to call the number back but it comes up unavailable.

if there is no option for putting ur number on the DNC u usually have to speak to a rep and usually they are pretty coopertive but not these guys.

I am also on the no call list and they have been calling me for a few years prob about once a month..I hate them also but you people are all brave..I was afraid to press 9 cause I have been told to not press any number or they can somehow tap into your number and charge long distance to your bill..

someone named lisa on an automated voicemail was calling about a credit card offer of 6%. No details given as to which credit card company it is only the emphasis on the low interest rate.

I received numerous calls from this number - when I answered, it was very distorted with loud sounds in background (like a calling center) as if someone mis-dialed.  I hang up everytime.

Dialed this number back and you get an message saying "this number is not available". Probably some scum sucking idiot trying to get money from people.  Get a real job you morons!!

I guess, from some of the posts above, some of us are that dumb.

I get these calls all the time and these guys always claim to be from a local area but i find it interesting how the person i spoke to called himself steve as usual and had a heavy east Indian accent. I guess what bothers me the most is how these guys really do think we are just that dumb and as for the number it is different every time so who knows where it is coming from and the numbers probably just transfer to a local number to make it seem local. He kept asking for personal questions and i kept asking for a website so i may check them out when he finally said we had a bad connection and i assume hang up on me as the phone disconnected. Do not be fooled by these guys and you can totally sexually harass them and make personal insults because what are they going to do about that anyways?

Just missed one of these. I didn't pick up, which is fine. I wonder how these callers can possibly give me a lower credit card rate than 0% (since I don't have one, want one or need one?)

To you folks above - it's sad that you have to put up with that kind of attitude. At least they could PRETEND to remove your name. It's only polite y'know.
