It's a scammer trying to get your banking information. Disregard any message they leave for you claiming that your debit card has been put on fraud alert. They claim to be with various banks; my call supposedly came from Southeast Financial Credit Union. Do not give your financial information to any caller who calls you and asks for it; banks and other financial institutions never call you to ask for that kind of information.

I got this call at 7am this morning! I located their street address. 1700 block of 3rd Ave, Invermere, BC, Canada. I just can't get the software to look at the houses. The pictures surrounding that street are nice and so is the Lake. Expensive neighborhood. I guess that's why they are trying to scam money..to pay for their house. Call again..I'm very tempted to call back and tell them I am sitting outside their really nice house, to come out and say hello. lol..

Pre-recorded message from a "bank" regarding trouble with a debit card I don't have. Wanted me to transfer to a "security" person to get reactivated.
If anyone falls for this bogus scam, they deserve to get taken!

Just got the phone call. I called my bank to see what was going on because i did not initiate the phone call. They said everything was OK with my account and card. SCAM!!!!!!!!!

same as above. they said my southwest bank debit card (which I dont have) has been shut of and I need to press 1 and follow instructions. Then they called my husbands phone 2 hours later.

They've called my cell and my home phone telling me that my debit card has been deactivated due to a billing error. I hung up. SCAM!!!!!

They've called my cell and my home phone telling me that my debit card has been deactivated due to a billing error. I DON"T have an account with the bank they list! I tried calling the number back, it went into a voice mail, I left a message...be interesting to see if they call me back! (They already have my phone numbers...) The number they used to call the house was different 304-529-0401, same message.

Automated voice said my debit card was canceled and I needed to enter my 16 digit acct #. I have never had an account with this local bank, so I instantly knew it was a SCAM. Don't be fooled.
