Call from this numer Jan 17. Did not answer as didn't know the number.

got a call from these guys and i don't even have any credit cards

I receive  call from that number 250.395.2467 for nearly 3 months.
I just filled up a complain at the CRTC, this is a canadian organisation so they should be able to do something. Just go and do the same, more people do so more chance CRTC will do something

They're trying to scam your info to steal your identity. Just hang up and tell them nothing.

Umpteenth call from these scammers.  I'm running out of spaces in call block section of my phone.  Pushed "1" to talk to someone and when he came online I gave a loud blast from my old basketball coaching whistle. The guy yelled "owwwwww"from the sound.  I feel much better now.  Maybe if enough of their telemarketers get damaged hearing the stupid a$&@%^+* will quit calling.

Pre- recorded about credit card. I immediately hung up. Not the first time I have gotten a call like this.

I also got a call from that number, glad I didn't aswer! But then again, I would have given them a piece of my thoughts!!

Called just now to my landline in Toronto.  Pressed nothing and hung up.

I got a phone call from this person I said hello 3 times and then they hung up.

J'ai re^cu plusieurs appels de ce numéro.  J'ai décroché mais n'ai surtout pas pesé sur le numéro demandé car il s'agit probablement de fraude pour utiliser mon numéro de téléphone.  Je suis sur la liste des numéros qui ne doit pas recevoir de ces appels mais ils entrent quand même.  Comment s'en débarrasser?

Got a call from this number for a deal on reducing interest on credit cards.  So glad I didn't give any information.  Got rid of him by asking him to send me the offer through the mail.

Saw the call when we got home, no message. When I tried to call, got an answer from phone company that
this number is no longer in service.

They call here regularly, we never answer.  Today, got the call, followed prompts to speak to agent, indian accent, I asked to speak to a supervisor, he hung-up on me, I registered a complaint with the CRTC.  Lets see wht doesn't happen!

This phone number appears on my phone 1-2 times a day. I don't answer and the party do not leave a message. I also get calls from phone #:000-000-0000

just got one, picked up and said to them instead of saying hello i just said "im coming to get you" and hung up on them and thanks to panasonic i blocked the number asap!

Received this call concerning credit card interest rates!!! Not from my bank!!

Got a call from this number tonight, said to push 1 for lower credit card interest rate..so for something to do I pushed one and some guy I couldn't understand answered, ask him what company he was with and he said something about low interest rate of Mastercard. I said sorry I didn't catch the name of the company and he hung up..so I called the number back and a Bell Canada recording came on saying the this number is no longer in use. I saw on TV the other night that the foreign call centers are hacking the numbers.

For the love of common sense do not go ranting about the CRTC because the caller ID shows a Canadian area code. These callers are from out of country (usually Asia) and are spoofing the CID so that more people pick up. There is really nothing that can be done about it - no way to trace the calls unless the country in which the calls come from wants to police those kinds of things. Which they do not.
