These people call my number and either hang up when I answer or do not letter the phone ring long enough for me to answer.

If they are rude to me, I find them on the internet, call and report them to a supervisor! They are non-profit and the Do Not Call Registry doensn't apply to them. Unfortunately, they are probably hired telemarketers FOR the non-profit and the non-profit probably sees little if any money from them. And for the person who said what they sell is tax deductable is incorrect. ONLY the amount OVER the value of what you receive is tax deductable according to the IRS. (www.irs.gov) If they told you differently they gave you bad tax advice!

We get one or two calls every day from this number. I tried calling back and "Mailbox Full."

If they call me again they'll be deaf as well as blind once I use my police whistle in their ears. What is the point of the Do Not Call registry if every jerk out there can call you?

Any ideas who calls from this number?

They hung up before I could answer and use my air horn on them.

This is the sales/donation number for the MAFTB - Manufacturing Association for the Blind. They will attempt to sell you hand-made household items like brooms, mops, odor eliminator, BBQ brushes... The purchases are tax-deductible donations.
