I do have a mitsubishi acct and i received call from this number shortly after calling them this morning. Most likely it could be legit. I did not answer, no message left.
sharon 2012-12-28 23:01:17 Unknown
I too just received this call not even 10 minutes after talking with Toyota SE. My payment has never been late, etc., I just called Toyota to check on something. Makes sense it was a survey
someone 2012-11-01 15:53:01 Unknown
I don't have a Toyota or a Mitsubishi or even a loan or lease of any kind. I have exactly 0 debts to anyone, so I don't know why they called me this morning and then immediately hung up when I answered without saying anything. Bunch of jerks.

This is Southeast Toyota Finance. If you called them about your account, this number will call you to answer questions for a customer satisfaction survey. It is strange that they ask for your SSN, and I don't know if they realize this makes it seem shady, but what they actually ask is for you to enter you "account number or SSN followed by the pound key."

Just got a call from this number, it was a customer service survey for a previous call I had made to Southeast Toyota Finance.
JB 2012-05-16 13:53:49 Unknown
Just received a call from this number twice, answered the second time. It was an automated customer service survey for a previous call I had made to Southeast Toyota Finance.
Not a scam.

It's an auto financing company called World Omni Customer Service. They could be calling if you own a Toyota or any car financed through them.
Google it.

They are calling to go over your end of lease options.
Universe 2012-01-24 16:11:55 Unknown
Proven that it wasn't faulty brakes on the Toyota, just stupid people..which is the case in most things.
shane 2012-01-24 16:08:53 Unknown
It's not a scam...CenterOne Financial is calling because you haven't paid your car note.
Scat 2012-01-05 22:56:10 Unknown
this number 251 639 7500 is from S E Toyota finance
Murray 2011-12-14 16:43:28 Unknown
I do not own a a toyota or a mitsibushi. I own a pontias sunfire that was paid off 4 years ago. They call me 3-4 times a day and it just started a week ago. This was the same time I stupidly signed up for a survey website. This has nothing to do with your bill. It has everything to do with trying to scam you into something that you will have a bill for.
Victoria 2011-06-06 20:44:15 Unknown
This is SE Toyota Finance or World Omni same thing
Laura Ling 2011-06-06 20:44:15 Unknown
The message left was from MNI Bank regarding the end of our lease on a Volvo.
angus 2011-06-06 20:44:15 Unknown
I am getting 5-6 calls from this number every day. I am NOT behind on any of my bills, so whatever these people want, it isn't legitimate. I suspect that all of the rude comments on this site were posted by whomever is behind this scam.
It's crazy 2011-06-06 20:44:15 Unknown
I missed the call, however, I just had called Mitsubishi to inform them I changed insurance companies.
I am current on my payments so it can't be that.....
It's crazy 2011-06-06 20:44:15 Unknown
Ok, I called the Mitsubishi company back and asked about this number that called my cell... She stated that when a customer calls in, the customer service will call back for a survey to determine the level of service that was given.... (I had just previously called in regarding change of insurance)....
don't have to answer it if you don't want but I know the calls can be annoying.
Good luck!

Just dont even bother with these people. They are a collection agency for a lot of companies. Southeast Toyota uses them and the collection agency are outsourced to India. They are rude and will call you over and over anytime day or night. If you ask them their name they will give you a phoney name like Gary Johnson. I dont know a lot of people living in India named Gary Johnson. So does someone think that Im going to give my credit card number to someone in another country who gives me a false name? Dont think so. also being a day or two late just send something by mail dont send the Indians in for an all out attack.
Brent 2011-06-06 20:44:15 Unknown
They'll call if your car payment is past three weeks late. They won't leave a message. Just answer, say you'll pay soon, and they'll stop calling. I'm sure their results affect your credit report so its probably best that you do answer even if it sucks to admit you're behind.

This number is unsolicited and I have no idea who it is from...RB
sasmando 2011-06-06 20:44:15 Unknown
It answered!!! It was southeast Toyota!!! I was behind my car payment,,,,I took care of it, then I called back southeast Toyota to make sure, It was legit...It was them...The account number they want over the phone is not you BANK ACCOUNT!!! It is your car loan number,,,,,You pay your bill, they wont bother you:))))
Joe 2011-06-06 20:44:15 Unknown
Really? This is a scam. Anyone who leaves their social security number to an answering machine deserves to be ripped off.
And if anyone who says that this number is for real, please leave your name and number so we can talk to you.
When you pick up the phone the caller will hang up immediately. Doesn't sound like a collection agency to me.Even the real agencies will answer the phone.
It's when you call back is when the message will ask for your social security number.
Anne 2011-06-06 20:44:15 Unknown
They said it was SE Toyota-but I had made a payment a cpl days ago- (and it was only 2 weeks late) and had multiple calls daily on two phones....so I challenged her to re-check since I made the payment-she then said she saw it but wanted me to verify the mailing address...I told her I did what I had to, I don't know who you are and if you're legit..I don't have to verify anything with you..understood?
She hung up. When I told her I made a payment she put me on hold for a sec....I plan to call SE Toyota 800 number and speak to someone about this..ridiculous!
Someone who knows! 2011-06-06 20:44:15 Unknown
This call is an automated line from World Omni Financial, They handle the accounts for Toyota. It is a recording to tell you to pay your bill. World Omni also handles other types of loans not just Toyota!
Someone who knows! 2011-06-06 20:44:15 Unknown
This is an Automated line from World Omni. When you are late on your payments this automated service will call you and it usually takes a couple of seconds for a representative to pick up the line to talk to you. Sometimes the line does disconnect because it has ISSUES. It is a legitimate call. I usually get five or six calls from this number every day my payment is late I also receive two or three calls from the toyota 800 number every day I'm late. The verification of address is to make sure you are who you are. The 800 number also has you confirm your address, it helps them to know you are you and to make changes to you account, that way they know your address if they have to come get the property you are paying on!

I called this number back and instantly went to an auto attendant that immediately asked for my SS#
(I entered 000-00-0000). I noticed that another person posted something about it being World Omni (a.k.a. SE Toyota Finance) and I do have a vehicle financed by them...but the person I spoke to did not mention that company name until I asked if that was who I was speaking to. She went on to ask again for my SS# my acct# or VIN# so it's possible that they are legit but I gave them no info and told her to not call back again and I planned to report it.
Marta 2011-06-06 20:44:15 Unknown
Received 2 calls 5 minutes apart today on my cell phone. When I looked this up, I see that this has happened to several people. And that for those that took the call, it was some Customer Service Center asking for account number and ss#

This is the main switchboard # for World Omni Financial Corporation in Mobile, Alabama. This is a real place of business and they are not a scam I worked for this company for 6 years and they are very reputable. Anybody who has ever financed a Toyota through Southeast Toyota Finance has more than likely had their check processed through the Mobile office. If you are getting calls from them then maybe you need to pay your car payment.
Tonya 2011-06-06 20:44:15 Unknown
I keep getting calls from this number
