I got a call from that number a few minutes ago.  When I answered, it played a recording saying that this was a notice to renew my vehicle warranty and how dangerous it was to drive without one (that made me laugh).  At no time did the recording say the name of the company or which of my vehicles was supposedly out of warranty, so I have to assume that it's an effort to trick people into buying a warranty through a third party.  Doing a reverse phone look up shows this:

So, either the caller-id is being spoofed, or it's some tool running the business out of his house.

Also got one of these calls, on an unlisted cell phone.

Didn't answer, no voicemail was left.

I got the call on my privet cell, no message and tryed to call back and got the same recording this number had been disconted. what the hell? I moved to Ca about a year ago, and have family in Al, this is weird.

Got this call and wonder who it is and why they are calling.  Had a weird name on the caller id: CHANTHAPASEUTH, what the heck is that??????  Tried calling back and it plays a recording:  Sorry the number you have reached has been disconnected.  What's that all about???????

Got a call from this number answered it-they claimed the company named was warranty services and there call center was out of Georgia-a few days prior to that recieved another call from the same company diff number 702-520-1402-when you call either number it tells you the number is dissconnected-I asked them where there headquaters is based out of they said they didnt know-

i just had a call from this number about 5 minutes ago and there was no one 0n the line i tried to call back  and was told the # is not in service

Called today 7/11/08 at 9:25 AM pacific time (10 minutes) ago but I didn't answer it.

My cell rang, but I didn't answer it. On Tuesday, another call came in from 425-869-6371. I found postings on this site saying much of the same things about that number as this number (expiring warranty, calling back and disconnected). These people need to get real jobs and try to better society...TGF Caller ID! And the 'net!!!!

I rcvd a call from this number at 10:48A on 7/11 and found out the same info as "Starr" (above). One of my Google search results also showed the address had something to do with "Auto Warranty".
Definitely smells like a scam.

This number called me, I just missed it...rolled over to voicemail and no messsage was left.  I tried to return the call, and operator stated it was disconnected.

I assume it's someone trying to obtain personal information.

I received a phone call this morning from the phone # 251-824-1114. I don't know anyone who lives in this area code. When I researched it it appears that it is a phone number in Alabama. I do not know anyone in Alabama. A message was left that said something about a file. I tried to return the phone call only to be told that it was a disconnected phone number.

I'm getting the same thing: "expiring" car warranty.

Yet another call about my "expiring" car warranty.

According to Google, the number is a private residence in Alabama.
