8/1 message left for former husband,  (who committed suicide in 2007).  Caller said he was named as respondent and a restraining order had been filed against him.  He was to contact his attorney they gave claim/affidavit # and the phone number to call them.  8/2 called mailbox was full, 8/5 called mailbox was full (answering recorder did say it was process server).  Went on vacation, called again when I returned on 8/23 and the number was disconnected.  Looking up the area code it was North Carolina.  On 8/28 another message to former husband regarding civil suit on message machine.  The message was cut off so no phone number was stated, However, call ID shows 561 area code (Florida) phone number is 402-7437 wireless caller.  I have both messages (8/1 and 8/28) on my message machine.

You won't be getting any more calls from this number.  It has been disconected.  There were no working numbers for Pinnacle. I got in touch with their billing people Premium Express Process LLC and they put me through.  That's what they do...change phone numbers so they can't be traced or sued.  Their new number is 941-256-0413...Make sure that you don't give any bank account number or cc #. I spoke to my state's Attorney General's Office.  She said she hears about  this everyday, and it's really hard to find these scammers.  She said they use scare tactics and it's against the law what they are doing. If you happen to make a mistake and give your cc info to them.  Call your CC company at once.  Credit card companies  have a fraulent department, and they will investigate a company.  I know...I told them the story about Pinnacle, the threats, and how I was scared  and  I gave Pinnacle the cc info.  My cc company took the charges off because they knew it was fraudulent charges.  I've learned a very hard lesson...I WILL NEVER GIVE MY CREDIT CARD INFOMATION TO ANYONE OVER THE PHONE!.

Received a voice mail message stating that I had 24-48 hours to call and I had to appear for a civil suit.  They left this number and a claim number.  I did contact my lawyer and he placed a call to the number but the mailbox was full.

Prank Call
I received the same voicemail two days in row.  This call is from a civil investigations unit we are contacting you in regards to a complaint that has been filed against you pursuant to claim or affidavit # cjyc-2539. it says you must call 252 375-3499 immediately please forward this information to your attorney to show cause for a restraining order you have 24 to 48 hours to respond.

I went to the court house to find about this phone call they looks this up and said its a scam.  I am 65 years old and this scared me badly why would someone do this?  I called the number and it just rings what else can I do to stop these people?
No one has asked me for money yet so what is the purpose of this call? If someone does call me and ask for money I will come back to this web site and post it. Why won't the police do anything about this kind of scam?  it scares people

four days ago, I received a call from 252-375-3449, saying that I was chrarged in a civil suit, demanding a call-back and to refer to a "case number" that was given. The threat was that I have 24 hours to respond. Funny, the same message from the same number came again. I guess their idea of 24 hours is different than mine. Definately a scam - ignore it.

Got a call from this number this morning and I cant get through when I call back. Same msg, that its a legal matter n something about a restaining order. Thank God I checked it out online. I feel so much better.
Also, they used my maiden name, I changed that months ago. I figured if its legit and legal, they would have my new last name. Stupid scammers.

I just got a call from 1-252-375-3449 which left a message on my voicemail.  I was instructed that they were a civil investigations unit and that I was named a respondent in a civil action, needed to forward the information to my attorney, and that there was a restraining order against me  I was unable to reach anyone back at the number.  Interesting that they used a last name I have not used for 6 years, which made me question the validity of this call.  Research on them led me to this site.  They need to be stopped.

Idea -- if the caller claims to represent a court proceeding, then get the attention of that Court's jurisdiction! If they want to look the other way (no telling how corrupt the North Carolina system may be these days...

Also, report your concern to the U.S.Department of Justice. They could handle any illegal monkey business!

I just received a call from 252-375-3449, saying that I was being sued, I had a restraining order against me and my lawyer and I had 24 hr. to respond. Of course it was a recording. They gave me a contact number which was the number they called from and a  court docket number. I immediately typed in the number on line and this website popped. I didn't call them back. What should I do now.

Also got a msg. yesterday on a phone# that I had given to no one. All details the same as everyone else, but the # they told me to call was a West Virginia area code...681-203-5279. I think if everyone who has posted complains to 1-800-FTC-HELP (federal trade commission) and www.consumerfinance.gov that these a***oles can be shut down. It's not a one person scam....it is aparently nationwide. These people are fishing for information on you to use for illegal financial gain!!!!.........Please, everyone on this site DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!

They're a scam, not s business. Complain immediately to FTC.gov and to the FCC. Contact the Attorneys General of their state and of yours. For those of you unfortunate enough to call the creeps back or visit their website to plead with this scum to remove you "from their list," you've been had, big time!! Try Googling "Call 'Em All autodial"...and read the following advice found online:

Congratulations. By going to their website, you have now verified that they have a good phone number to call and sell to other "telemarketers", along with valuable additional information which your computer and data service provider automatically send back to them as internet identifiers. If you gave them your email address, that can quickly be sold to spam/scam/identity thieves posing as legitimate companies. Just visiting their web site renders you vulnerable to cookies, spyware, and viruses. Your decision to allow a friendly Chat session permitted foreign computer code to have access to deeper controls inside your system. Now you're really open for infection. Bad move. NO ONE ELSE SHOULD DO THIS. IT COULD CAUSE TOTAL COMPUTER FILE DESTRUCTION, AND SPREAD MALWARE TO ALL YOUR CONTACTS, INFECTING THEM, THEN INFECTING THEIR CONTACTS, AND SO ON. Vast quantities of personal information from all infected parties is then sent to that helpful telemarketer who initially called you, and to every other malicious hacker who shared in this Data Harvesting operation. Some individuals have profited big time. The fattest successes enjoy public acclaim as aggressive entrepreneurs. It's a good gig. Your cooperation is appreciated.
