RoboCall Telemarketer Carrier: Bandwidth.com. I did *67 to block my VOIP number to call back & had an automated attendant indicate "Thank you for calling. If you would like to be placed on a do not call list for the number that called you, please press 1 now .... repeats the greeting three times, then it  disconnects". For those with Android devices your so much better off in being able to prevent repeat calls. For those with iPhone I recommend using FREE app YouMail to ditch calls. For calls made to Landline, I subscribe to http://nomorobo.com/ The call rang once and the free service endorsed by FTC 2013 award prevented the illegal telemarketing call from being answered by me or by voice mail as a hang-up. Call centers invoice the carriers through monthly tariffs for connecting calls either answered by your voice mail or a human being ... Reason why majority of calls are hang-ups!

I'm tired people calling and there not being anyone... This is such BS.  The do-not-call list is crap and there needs to be a easy way to report numbers that keep calling you and hang up.

Has called in the past, finally answered and they wanted to verify our business information. Then they started asking me personal questions like what my email was and what city I was born in. NO THANK YOU.

I think it's a publishing company, trade magazines, etc.  Big time-wasters.

They call numerous times every day, never leave a message and this has been going on for at least a month.  You would think they would get it that we have no desire to speak with them.  Our phone is for our use, not theirs.

Multiple calls over the weekend as well.  Never answer, never a message.  They'll give up soon.

Well their DNC listing does not work as I just got another call to a work line today.  Have reported them on the DNC website and here.

called trying to sell some construction magzaine, told them they called a residence.

Called again and this time did not ID herself or company, only asked for VP of Quality by name. I said: "One moment, please." and put her on hold until she hung up. (After the first call today, I verified with VP that he was NOT interested and did not wish to speak to anyone from this company). Like a previous poster, I, too, called number back and pressed "1" for our company to be placed on their Do Not Call list. We'll see what happens............

Caller ID showed "North Carolina". Free publication of a Medical Trade Magazine....she did ID herself and the company, but once she said "free publication" I tuned her out. Wanted to varify info for the VP of Quality whom she claims is already receiving the mag. I hung up on her mid-sentence.

Called this number back and got a recording stating that if I want to be placed on a DNC list to press 1. Did so and said would take 48 hours to process but no name or company listed.  Very strange.
