Sapling learning and headway gave me a writing job yesterday, which i can do from home

They sent me a i-9 and instructions to my bank account. And i did.
Im fricking out now because i mailed them the i-9 form and they emailed me saying i have to find an "official agent in my area to repreent me." WTF!!? This agent has to be an accountant, notery, librarian, so they can verify my licence is real. I wonder if they are for real!!!?

Marla: How may I help you today?
Tod: This project requires that you have a landline telephone in your home in order to transmit the data you collect each day you return from the field. If you do not already have a landline telephone in your home, are you willing to pay the installation fee and cost for this service? quite honestly I came to this page as a result of an employment listing on crags list and find an analog phone line as a way to promote a commin scam involving out of country or 900 # dialing of a phone modem this way you have the phone company collecting for you any funds you wish to charge an un knowing appplicant.
Marla: We only provide the technical support
Tod: and that makes it look even more like a scam
Tod: how can I contact the site/content owner?
Marla: We do not have the information you are requesting.
Marla: You may want to go directly to the company website to start the application process
Tod: does you company check to see that you are not being used to commit a crime?

I got a phone call from the 252-563-1978 number as well. He said his name is Keith Ducatee, and he works for Headway Corporation, and he was located in North Carolina. He said he'd found a resume at Career Builder first, and he wanted to know if I was the person who was listed on the resume and whether I was at the address he had on the resume and that the phone number on the resume as well was correct. I have never posted at CB.com, so immediately my big red lights started flashing. He then changed his story and said that he'd obtained the information from Monster.com. At that point I asked for his name, his company, where he was currently, when he found my resume, supposedly, and where I could reach him. He gave me a different number to call than the one he called on, 866-377-9587 which is in accordance with what other folks have posted here. He stated that he found the resume on 4.25.07, which is odd, why would it take a company so long to call on a resume they found?
I refused to verify whether or not my name was who he was looking for, and I also asked for his boss' name, which he refused to give to me, saying if I needed any further information I could call the number he gave me, there was no reason to have that information. He said he would remove the resume he found from *his* system, he emphasized "his" in the sentence, which leads me to believe that the resume he has is still on other systems in the company.

I had gotten the same 252-563-1978 about a job opportunity and i tried to call them back to give me some more information about the job because the person was so vague in the description of the job and she just repeated the same thing that she had said in the message. I wonder if its a scam? I've already traced the call to a specific location using white pages. the # is a landline phone. it's not a business, so i don't think it's a legit thing, because the woman said she was with a company called Headway but you'd think if it was a legit job opp. she would give people more information on the matter. Whatever...

Came on my cell caller id (252) 563-1978 - they left a message. Sating that they had seen my resume online and wanted to contact me about a job opperuntity. For one I am not looking for a job and my reusmes that are posted in Monster and CareerBuilder are on privte. So anyone wanting to offer me a job would have to email me first. So I assume that one of those companies is selling my number to outside sources.

From the number that was left on my voicemail 866-377-9587, I searched and it belongs to Headway Corporate Resources in Westminster, MD. But the number above is in Tarboro, NC.
