Hey, I have the same problems about I owe 982.00 to payday loan. The caller told me his name is Roger Johnson and my iformation is at the court house. He advise if I don't pay the police will pick me up at door. He also my social securityy number will block, lose my job and go to jail for 6 months. I can hardly ever get any sleep at night. I told him money havn't been coming into my account.

I received this call and could barely understand the guy, middle eastern and thick accent.  He proceeded to try and tell me he was with a Cyber Crime Investigative Unit and I had taken out a payday loan online and needed to make a payment today or they were pressing charges? When I started to question him, couldn't give me staight answers. Said his name was Roger/Rodney Johnson based out of Kent WA.   I tried to call the number back and it said the number was unrecognizable because it was showing up local, but it was long distance?  Called local phone carrier, that said it was a magic jack?  This is a complete SCAM!  Hopefully they catch this guy.

I received a call from the number and a man with accent said I would be arrested if I did not settle a Pay day loan with parent company of CashAdvance who have Plain Green Loans as one of many that are represented by CashAdvance.
He said his name was Roger Johnson and I did a reverse look up and found the following information:

The man said he was a Cyber Crime Officer and said I should not pay the Plain Green loan but to instead send him $75 a week by going to a Walmart Getting a Money Pass from Green Dot in Walmart and call him with the receipt that would have 14 activation code.
He opened his conversation by saying I would get arrested due to only paying the re-finance charge on the loan. He said not to allow the Plain Green Loan to automatically extract payment from my account and to place a stop on all automatic payments going out from the account. He said my loan amount was now 1,096 owed and the only way to get the loan paid was through him. He further said not to respond to any other calls that (I was sure to get) would come in to my phone but only take his calls. He provided me with a password that I was to ask of anyone calling to ensure it was him and no one else I was talking to.
This is quite elaborate a scheme!
I also received a call from the number: 323-900-0031. I did a look up on that one and it is a scam number collection for payday loans.

I listened and did not provide any information but did the reverse phone look-up.

This middle eastern guy called me his name was indeed RODNEY JOHNSON, couldn't understand him just that he needed me to call before the police got involved. I left him a message and told him I called the police and FBI and if he ever called me again he would regreat it! I then changed my phone number! He better leave me alone because otherwise he will be sorely SORRY!!! Don't believe this scam!!!!!

You should just call your phone company and block the number from calling your phone.  The same has been happening to me, at this point I won't even answer my phone.  They haven't left a message on my phone yet.  But I just had my phone carrier to put a block on my phone.  I also have auto reject so when they call it automatically drops from their phone.  I hope authorities catch these people.

Just got the same message... man names Rodney Johnson from the Cyber Crimes Investigation Dept. This is a definitely a SCAM, as this man has called me many times in the past, got so bad that he even called my job and threatned to send the police to my place of work. I advised several times that I have no loans that are outstanding and should not call back or I would do the same as the rest of you. He will not give up... I remember the first call I got made me very nervous, they called my fiance and my brother and told them if they didn't pay the debt that I had obtained they would be the ones to go to jail. They are ridiculous and need to get a life. This has been going on for about a year and half now. Everytime I question them for the documents it becomes a screaming match. It's like ebough is enough, you wanna argue we can argue I am a latin women full fire honey bring it on. Once I start raising my voice they just hang up and say something in their language. LEAVE US ALONE DAMMIT.

this guy works alone, He called my friend and threatened her and I called him back from her number and asked for Roger Johnson he put me on hold and then came back on he tried to disguise his voice. he kept asking for my name and number (Don't give them your real information) anyway I kept him on the phone for as long as I could before telling him that his number was being traced by the FBI he quickly hung up. I called him back from my phone and disguised my voice and he did the same thing told me to hold on and changed his voice like he was someone else while I was on the phone with him I dialed him from my friends number he hung up the call from my phone and answered the other call. after calling him over and over again telling him that I was getting in touch with the local authorities he then began to beg me to stop calling him that he then started saying that some one else was using his phone to call people and threaten them....THIS IS A SCAM DONT FALL FOR IT CALL HIM BACK AND LET HIM KNOW YOU KNOW ITS A SCAM.!

I just got a VERY threatining phone call from this number that said they were going to come arrest me ... However I know better all of my loans are in good standing and current . This is a SCAM seriously if you cannot speak English clearly DO NOT call me saying that I haven't paid my bills and that they were sending police to my house to arrest me...  This is totally ridiclious !

I received a threatening call from this number, stating they were with the Bureau of Crime Investigation and they were going to take me to court for fraud, I made them send me an invoice of when I borrowed this payday loan, also they immediately sent a made up one no dates etc.....so sent them an e-mail back telling them i am going to local law enforcement and have them investigated my phone hasn't rang since.

I got the same calls three days in a row so on the third day I told them that if the calls didn't stop I will tag their phone number and call the FBI,Homeland Security and the local police.When I said that they hung up but I plan on leaving another message on their answering machine tonight saying the same thing.Don't fall for this SCAM!!! these people are not from the USA and together we can put people like this out of business for good.

I recieved a call from this number 253-216-3657 from Agent Frank Miller of FCID the party claimed they were from a collection firm representing Pay Day Loans. they said my wife took out a loan for 150.00 and if we didnt get it taken care of they were sending out the police. One tall one and a short one. These guys are middle eastern and when i challenged him he claimed his attourney recomended that i pay him 119.00 and they would investigate it. after some time of arguing loudly and after many attempts for details i decided this was most certainly a scam. I told him he was trying to scam me and he screemed that he was not. I informed him i was calling the FBI and reporting him he suddenly hung up, I know for a fact that you can not get arrested for not paying a credit card or an unpaid loan there are many leagel ways to collect from someone, so dont beleve a word they say by the way they knew my wifes SS # and email address.

I also received a threatening voicemail from this number. I had a very hard time understanding what it was for though. I deleted the message very quickly.
