The number that has been calling us for the last week is 800-806-3342.  It is a robocall that tells us to call them back.  They identify themselves as LA Interstate and that they are a collection agency.  We don't call them back because it seems that it may be a scam or they have the wrong number.  If they wanted to get ahold of someone, wouldn't they have a real person calling instead of a voice message???   Just asking!!

Every day 1 to 2 times daily I receive  calls. Always a recording saying this is Allied  Debt collection agency. Very  rapidly  the phone number  of recording is sputtered off then hang up.  It is very annoying.  I am on the do not call registery list. Do not owe any bills so do not know why this outfit continues to call.

this number keeps calling and leaving messages.  I don't know who they are trying to get a hold of but they continue.

yea they have called me over and over almost every day when i answer theres no one on the other side so i started cussing and screaming into the phone then hung up they called again that night at mid night who ever this is if i ever find u well lets just say it wont be nice

Yeah, what the hell is this all about?? They've been calling me every day, today was the first time I answered the call. The guy asked for me by my first name and then just hung up??? WTF????  This number is on my caller ID every day!

Rec'd call from this number at 2:18 p.m. EST Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007. How can we stop these people from calling? Same with an 866 number out of SLC, UT that keeps calling!

The 1-800-214-6530 was also on my caller ID a few times..I just checked back..it's a frickin' collection agency for Sprint. I guess they want their money because I ended their contract early because their service was horse crap. Do yourselves a favor people..DO NOT GET SPRINT FOR YOUR CELL PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER.

Calls several times per day.  When I pick up, no one is at other end (silence).  Return call states this number is no longer in service.

Calls were coming several times a day from 253-218-3450....when I woulod answer, it was silent....meaning, it's probably a computerized system that dials the number and sends the call to a representative and the representative has not ended his/her first call, net, when we answer our phones, their is nobody on the other end.  The other day, however, I did manage to answer with someone on the other end.  She asked for my Father, who is an elderly man.  I asked where she was calling from and she kept asking if he (my father) was here.  I finally got her to say where she was calling from, she said Allied Interstate.  Not sure if that wsa bogus or not.  Someone mentioned this caller was a collector for Sprint.....my Father used to have Sprint but I would think his account was paid in full.  I know my Mom has been getting calls from some credit card scam company that focuses on the elderly.....who knows?  I have, however, a call block with my telephone company....perhaps you can get a block with your telephone company and have the number (253-218-2450) blocked.  It's worth the try.

My experience ended up not being totally negative but it was weird.  Like many others, I was being called at least once a day every day for about a month. I have caller ID and did not answer. From googling the number I knew it was Allied Interstate, a collection agency, and I knew I did not have any debt. I did a free credit check just to assure myself that my identity had not been stolen or something and everything looked fine. Normally they hung up wihout leaving a message but on two occasions, they left a recorded message saying they were calling about a debt and to call back on a tollfree number which I did not do. I finally decided to answer to see who they *thought* they were calling - to reassure myself that it was not me or one of my kids that they were looking for. The first time I answered, the caller spoke a name but then hung up. To me it sounded like the name of my daughter's boyfriend. Next time they called I answered again - sure enough the name they asked for was the name of my daughter's boyfriend. I did not let on that I knew it was a collection agency or anything and simply said that no one by that name lives here. They asked if I knew anyone by that name and I truthfully said yes but that he had never lived here (he and my daughter live in another state).  Surprisingly, the caller apologized and promised that within 48 hours my number would be removed from their database. Believe it or not I have not had a call from them since. I was astonished that they did not press me for more information or anything.  I suspect that it is as someone else had said, that they are calling people that may know the person they are looking for - i.e. possibly my daughter had called me from his phone at one time and if it is a Sprint problem for instance, then obviously Sprint would have had my number.

Idiots keep calling for a deceased person.  Allied Interstate,is the company. They wanted me to send them a letter of my dead family member. Think Sprint/Nextel needs to get their records straight. It was their phone that located my family member and found them dead.

I DONT KNOW WHAT COMPANY YOU GUYS ARE CALLING FROM BUT PLEASE LEAVE A REAL LIVE PERSON MESSAGE NOT A RECORDED MESSAGE AND 800'S NUMBERS OK. IF YOU ALSO LEAVE A NUMBER MAKE SURE IS WORKS.

I am not going to give them that info!!! so they keep calling.
They have the wrong TERESA and they won't give up.

My husband and I keep getting calls on our cell phones from 800-214-8742.  When I pick up the phone, there is that pause like with telemarketers, then some man with a thick accent answering the phone but he just keeps saying "hello?" and nothing else, then disconnects.  Annoying!!

When I called them back to find out what company it was, there was an automated message that said "This is LA Interstate".

Just an update on Allied Interstate. I called the 866 number listed on this site & spoke to a woman explaining that I do not have any overdue debt of any kind. She said she could not pull up any info on my number as it was not coming up for her. I used the names of the supervisors (also from the posting on this site) I did get a man on the phone & politely explained what had been going on & could my name be taken off the list. He asked me to hold for a moment. After a few seconds they disconnected.
They repeatedly asked for my social security number which I refused to give & they said they couldn't help me unless I gave them it.
It was obviously a call center in India.

I have gotten a few calls in the last 2 days from an 800 number (I didn't catch the rest of the number). A recording simply repeats over & over the message "This is Allied Interstate a debt collection agency, any information you give may be recorded". I tried to star 69 back but I got the same recording. I don't have any outstanding debts. Does any one know who these people are or how to contact them?

I get calls from this number at least 2x a wk.  I call back and VM says this is LA Interstate debt collector.... I laid my phone down for a solid 25 min and it never switched off the recording.  I WANT them to STOP calling!

We got a call from Allied Interstate (sounds like 'LA interstate' on their recorded disturbing greeting (then a hang-up).  Caller ID said 866 825 4574.

I called back and spoke to a lady by the name of 'Aton'.  Asked to speak to her supervisor: Nikunj Aggarwal (or Agarwal).  He promised to take my number off their lists.  I asked who his supervisor is: answer: Vineet Chaturvedi.

I hope they do stop calling afew to several times a day.

For the past two-three weeks I have been getting phone calls from L.A interstate debt collection company. They don't just call once or twice they call me 16 to 17 times a day! I'm only 18 and don't have any debt. They don't even ask for me they ask for a Mario Sanchez and I've told them numerous time that I'm not him. I'm a girl for goodness sake! They still continue to call! I've even gotten calls at 12 at night. I'm just about to call the police for harassment.

I've recieved 2 calls from this number about debt collection but they didn't have any personal information. The number they left for me to call demanded that I sign up for a subscription to some service So that I could know more about what the phone call. Rofl I'm thinking this is a scam.

They constantly call my Grandmother and say they are the police and she needs to stay on the line, then they come back after a long period and say just kidding or somehting along that line.  Seem to be prank phone callers with no lives.

I have received several calls from this number and I don't know who these people are.  I answered once and the other line abruptly hang up.  I'm on the do not call list so I don't understand the reason this is happening.  According to some of the other testimonials, this is a Sprint number.  I do not have an account with sprint/nextel so I too do not know the reason for this call.  I wish I know how to stop this nonsense as I will definitely pass it on.
