called twice today. no message left.

i just got a call from this number, who or what business is it because it is getting annoying getting calls and not being able to call back, says welcome to verizon the number you are trying to call is eihter a non working number or disconnected please check the number and try again

Received 5 calls over a few minutes.  I answered 3 times and said "hi".  No response.  Some noise on the other end, there was obviously someone there.

I got a call TWICE within a minute of each other.  Called back and the number was disconnected.

It is someone either in the Lewis County Circuit Court or their probation office.

The 253 area code is suburbs south of Seattle to center of Tacoma.  In this case, they identified themselves

No message left. When called back it is disconnected.

I received a call from this number that went directly into voice mail.  When I called back it disconnected itself within seconds.(?)

I paid my college tuition today and with a half hour got a call from this number saying my tuition had a problem... My college tuition is fine, very weird how the people on the other end know what to say to make it sound legit.

I received a call but it didn't leave any messages

I received the call, answered and no one was there, so I called back and it was busy.

I received a call 2 times in a row and when I answered no one was there.  Got a busy signal when I called it.

Oh, this number is certainly belonging to Washington State offices of some kind, but with my wife, they called in reference to Washington State Foster Care (Department of Human Services or DHS for short) and is a dummy number that employees use to avoid being recorded in some of the conversations they choose to fling at people.

I got this call in response to an email I sent to the WA Unemployment folks.

This number is.....The Washington State Department of Revenue. Most outbound calls from there office uses this number as well as other departments with-in there building / area. They are typically calling about taxes!

This phone number belongs to the WA State department of employment security.

I have received several calls from this number that hang up when answered and leave no message if missed.  I have called back several times and get circuit busy signal.  This is either a scam or harassment.

received a call from this number - caller id says "washington call".  They said they were calling from the Illinois Dept of Employment Services and left a call back # of 800-837-3074 - which I googled and it looks like it's some sort of Washington research company or something.  Sounds like a scam to me. We are in Illinois - but I think they aren't associated with IDES at all.

That's the line that routes outbound calls from Bellevue College.

Got a call today from this number.  I don't normally answer number I don't know.  No message left and tried to call back and it is disconnected.

Tried to call number says call cant be completed at time they asked for a specific person I didnt know then asked what it was in regards to they said it was prvt matter.

caller ID shows this number has recently called me 13 times.  Left no message.

I received a call from  253-220-1999 on my cell. I didn't answer my phone, I was busy. I looked it up on Google and saw that it is a problem number. I know no one in Washington.

Tried calling the number a second time, and THIS TIME a recording stated the number was disconnected, or no longer in service!  VEDY VEDY STRANGE!

Just got a call, I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer....when I called back, it immediately went busy..... #@!$

i received a call march 4 at 4:40 pm inquiring about my grown daughter and welfare benefits. tried calling back later and apparently it is disconnected....weird

Received a call from this number today, all the message said was, "Hi", then hung up.  Looked here to see who/what it could be.  Like everyone else, I have no idea:(
