(253) 236-2035 got missed call at 830am ?! If it is what i have read from pervious posts then thiscall like many like it could be a cyber crime type fake business. They claim what they claim but if you get these calls DO NOT GIVE OUT SOCIAL SECURITY # or any personal information . If u do anwser and they seem to already have your credit card info and number dont give them your address ,ss # or anything really. There are alot of scams , just like spam email and others, they try these things because They work. Espcially around holidays. U could see a 5 or 10 dollar charge on your credit card and not be sure if u remember doing it or not. 10 dollars on say a credit card dump list (which u or i could be on) a 60,000 list per say, 60k x 10 = is a quick 600,000. 85million or billion i forget now which was reported stolen via cyber crime in 2011 . Scary stuff even if u think your being safe companys will always sell off credit card numbers to other "companys" even if they claim they dont...
Received unsolicited and UNWANTED call today at 12/27 at 4:03 PM -- I hung up when recording started. I'm on DO NOT CALL LIST.
Recoding said this was my last courtesy call to reduce my credit card debt. I let it go to a person and asked them what kind of scam they were running. They hung up on me. :) I am on the do not call list.
Received an unsolicited call from this number on December 27, 2012 @ 3:36. Did not answer.
Picked up the phone and it was dead like their robo-call handling machine was too slow to hand it off to the next available representative. Hung up. Found this. Glad I did.
Called asking about my credit card balance. Stated nothing was wrong just that I needed to lower my interest rate. I'm on he no call list so why am I being bothered especially on my cell phone??
This number has called often to reduce my credit card interest rates - strange considering I never carry a balance. I just spoke to one of their "operators" and told them not to call again under penalty of law in NC and FCC. Of course, they just hung up.
"Yes, there will be a special "Standing Room Only" place in hell for them."
I like this part.
Robo call..."from Account Services" there is no problem with my account but it is important that I (Hung up)
Yes, I'm on every "DoNotCall" list in the universe...
Yes, it is irritating and pathetic...
Yes, they most likely take advantage of senior citizens that aren't scam wise.
Yes, there will be a special "Standing Room Only" place in hell for them.
I do not want this number to call me ever again.
I've pushed 2 -- as the recording suggested -- to be removed from these ongoing, unwanted calls yet they keep coming.
Got call that was recorded about credit. I am on the do not call list yet I am harassed by this number!
Don't have any credit cards due!
Credit Card Services. It's annoying to get these calls on my land line, but this was to my cell phone which is on a plan where I pay for minutes.
Same as everyone else - Heather at Card Services wanting to lower my interest rates. Have gotten this call hundreds of times on my home phone, which is on the DNC list, but this morning, received TWO calls within 5 minutes on my cell phone. Filing complaint with FTC.
I have received calls from this # and several others. I started keeping a list over several months. The calls from this # would come in as "Customer Service". They would always ring 3 times and hang up. The list grew to a couple of pages of random numbers, many of them ID'd as "Out of Area". Some with my area code would show up as "Out of Area". Always 3 rings, never a message. So I began to piece together that my number was on an "auto-dialer" list and I was getting dozens of calls from these "bogusly" ID'd numbers.
My friend gave me the best advice I could ask for. Here it is:
Go find the recording (it's posted on the web) of "The number you have reached is either out of service or disconnect...". I have an old digital answering machine. I played that recording, through my computer speakers into the answering machine as recorded it as my "Outgoing Message". Leaving the volume up, when these bogus auto-dialer calls came in, I answered my phone on speaker phone, held it up to the digital answering machine and played the outgoing message - "The # you've reached..." I played it twice til I could determine I had a dead line. Within a minute, the auto-dialer called again to check to see if the number was really disconnected. I played the outgoing message again twice. Since then, my phone has gone completely SILENT of these auto dialer calls.
Try it if you like. If you're getting a lot of them, figure out through your caller ID which ones seem to be the auto-dialers and then let them have the message. Be prepared to play it again when they call right back. Good luck.
I received a phone call from a number in the state of Washington from a town called Kent. The number is 253-236-2035. Searching number I have gotten complaints of them claiming to be Verizon to that of a company claiming to help you with your credit card debt. Also showed a complaint on line that they are a debt collector. I owe nothing that is overdue to anyone. They leave no message and do not identify themselves
Have these companies ever heard of THE DO NOT CALL LISTS!!!!! I am on the National & State of Pennsylvania's lists. It is a $10,000 fine every time they call someone on this list. I am tired harassed by companies claiming to be police departments clear on the west coast begging for money when I am on the east coast or any of reason they are begging for money when I am laid off of work for over a year. They always call at dinner time and I am sick these calls period any time of day whether I am working or not! The DO NOT CALL LISTS were designed to stop this harassment as well as the fact I have a brother with cerebral palsy to assist and care for.
They call using a numerical dialer...number by number. I'm on the do not call list too and got a call from them today. I have added the number they called from (253-236-2035) on my blocked numbers on Verizon because it was my cell they called. We'll see if that helps. Otherwise, I saw a video of a guy on YouTube who kept answering "Yes" each time the caller (same type) asked him a question, any and every question...finally, the guy gave up. It was pretty funny and I expect worth a try.
Missed this call earlier this morning. So don't know what story they would have try to give me.
yes called and had accounts numbers wanting to lower intrest rate ,called all credit cards and attorney general office,,beware......
DON"T BELEIVE IN CREDIT CARDS SO BYTE ME
How does this f*ers get our numbers if we are on the DoNotCall List? 8/2/12 @ 2:20 PM PST
Customer service wanting to credit card info any type but will not tell which one they are wanting. I believe this is a scam, because if they should already know which one they have if they are wanting to lower your interest rate. Also I am on the do not call list.
Got the schpiel ... This is Heather from Customer Service, and we can help you lower the interest rate on my credit card ... just press 1 ... this is your last chance to obtain this lowered interest rate on your card. It's definitely a SCAM ... they don't know that this is a business phone line and I have no personal credit cards that have this contact number. Why are there so many crooks out there that don't have the intelligence to make money by earning it ... hello!?!
got unwanted call. I am on the do not call list.
THEY OFFER LOW INTEREST RATE OF 6.9% ON YOUR CREDIT CARD ACCT. AFTER TWO WORDS THEY HANG UP ON ME. WHY DO THEY CALL IF THEY DO NOT WANT TO TALK? IS THERE ANY WAY TO MAKE THEM STOP THIS NON SENSE?
We too are on the do-not-call list, for all the good ir does! If these @$^%& people were fined huge amounts of money, maybe they'd quit.
The last call a few minutes ago read Customer Service instead of credit card services, as it has in the past.
These jerks need to get a real job!
have you considered this is a scam to run up your minutes by the phone company? My friend's phone calls me all the time from his pocket and it's on lock!
They called me this morn and then hung up when I answered.
