I dont know why all you people actually post on this thing like your expecting to accomplish something. Do something that isnt waisting time. Seriously if you have this much time to go through these blogs and post stuff online about something that isnt going to change then a phone call that lasted maybe 2-4 seconds should be the last of your issues.

Called and left a recorded message about addiction. My number is not on the DNC list.

Just got a call about 10 minutes ago.  Came through my Google voice number.  The odd thing is, last night I found a bunch of spam messages for Alcohol awareness in email account

This was on my cell phone and I am charged for the minutes.  I believe solicitations on cell phones are unlawful.

Answered phone call and it was a woman's voice recording suggesting "If you or a loved one is fighting addiction to drugs or alcohol........."

calls 3 times a day, i finally answered, asked if i knew someone fighting addiction to drugs or alcohol.  pressed 9 to be removed.

I'm disabled and they called 4 times yesterday and 3 times today. Do not leave a message and I can't get to the phone in time to tell them to leave me alone. Call Says Kent Wash.

I live in Olathe Kansas and I'm getting this number   2532362319 - don't know who it is. apparently some of you have checked this out quite a lot--thanks --looks as though it comes from WASH stte.

There must be an adjective for these type of calls, SCAM works, but not very descriptive.

Ideas ?

Apparently this claims to be a " non-profit helping people with addiction problems find help". Guess what? They claim to be in Florida, are not a Florida non profit, might be a Florida for profit,  have no physical address on their website (treatment-resources.com), and refuse to give a physical address or any other info about themselves. Their website contains a promo asking treatment providers to pay them $599 for a listing. Unless I am wrong, they are randomly robocalling to try to generate enough leads to claim that they can refer people to the treatment centers which pay them for listings. Sort of abusing the public in order to rip off their subscribers. If you complain about the robocall, DNC violation, or ask identifying information, they think that they can claim that someone gave them your number by mistake. We'll see how this thread continues, and how many robocalls and DNC violations occur "by mistake". Keep reporting them.
