I too get these calls daily - There was a time I would report the numbers calling to the Do Not Call Registry but it does no good. This has been going on for 1 1/2 years now. Its incessant! They use a T-1 service that provides a new phone number almost every time they call. The caller ID might show just a number or a City and State. I have over 60 phone numbers logged and still get new ones daily. I'm tired of this!
Someone Help. I know my google registry status - I am updated.

Didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. Only their phone number was used as their caller ID. We've been getting "You haven't updated your Google listing" phone calls for sometime now, so this one must also be a scam as well, since we've never had a Google listing nor do we want one.

just to be clear, these types of calls are not from Google...they are from companies that claim they can help businesses do better on Google. just didn't want you to spend too much of your valuable time calling Google because it won't do anything for you. there are many scandalous companies that even claim to be from google, but google rarely does any telemarketing, and if they do, they can easily provide proof in a hurry that they are actually from Google.
just thought i would throw that out there so nobody wastes their time.
p.s. i know this, because i own a company who has to deal with these robo-calling, scamming companies on a daily basis. we help businesses get real reviews from their actual clients on google and the other major review sites, but we do it legitimately and without robocalls, etc. i personally get irritated when we get lumped in with these scammers, which is why i spent a little time posting this. maybe if the info helps someone, we can put a little good karma out there and not get lumped in with these jokers. www.trackbackinc.com

Pre recorded message from google about immediate advertising opportunities in our area. We have blocked dozens of these calls, they just call back from a new number. We have also contacted google saying we had no interest and to remove this number from all their marketing lists, but the calls continue. Have been filing reports with ftc stating this information after each call.
