Did you report it?

A different story depending on which day the call is made. I received these calls from the same number and
the same name ALERT more than four times a week. Received one today again. I tell the grand kids to not answer and the wife already knows that.... The problem is that it takes my or our time to determine the call and not answer.
This is harassment and I am tired of it.... Disappointingly, the phone becomes of little value and other scam calls are
received from others as well.

alert in call id said i was given an alert by a family member but they had the wrong address so i needed ti give them the correct address so they could ship it out FCC what are you doing STOP these scammers

My wife had the same call. They had a package and could get it cleared up right away just needed our address.....she hung up.

On the do not call list but not stopping these folks. Call from 253-236-2391 - Joe left a message and said somebody ordered some kind of Medical Alert....whatever that is.   Wanted us to press 1 to provide our address so that the item can be shipped.  This item was already paid for - they needed to get it shipped immediately.  Oh Well Joe - you're not getting my address.   Delete!

Got a call from 253-236-239 which had a recorded message said that "someone from this phone number had ordered a medical alert bracelet" (what a lie!!)  and that "it was already paid for" (another lie)  and "we need the right address" (yes, for their scam) and to "press 1".  

Regis came on the line and went through his marketing presentation and said he was with Senior Alert Care (probably another lie).  I asked for his number in case we got disconnected - he responded that he would look it up after he finished (this was another lie).  After his song and dance I asked for his number and he said that he could not give it to me since this would mean that "thousands of people" would be calling in and they would be overwhelmed (ha-ha what a joke).  I then told him I really wanted him to take my number off his call list.  He was upset and said, "if you weren't interested, why did you just tell me".  I told him that you said you would give me your number at the end of the presentation so if you weren't going to give it to me - why didn't you tell me.  He hung up!!!

Same thing.  Medical Alert thing and no address to send it, no name of who ordered it.  He didn't like where I told him to put it.

Exact same call from 253-236-2391 "ALERT":   "Joe" said he was from the Deployment Center and said he had a medical that had been ordered for me and needed address information.  It sounded very much like live voice, but I couldn't interrupt him.  Just said "Press 1"....

Got a call from this number--Alert--a few minutes ago. Said he was "Joe" (yeah right!!) from the deployment. Asked him to "deploy" himself and he hung up. These calls are just sickening. I will have to block this number.

"Joe" said he was from the Deployment Center (call came from Kent, Washington). Sounded like live voice, but was a recording I think.  He did not respond to my question. Said he had a medical that had been ordered for me and needed address information from me.

Got a call from 253-236-2391 (Kent, WA)  - Recorded message said that "someone from this phone number had ordered a medical alert bracelet" and that "it was already paid for" and "we need the right address".  THIS IS A SCAM -  They are fishing for your personal information or they are sending out medical alert bracelets to people who don't need them and then getting reimbursed from some federal program that pays for it out of our tax dollars- Either way it is a SCAM!!!!! Do not give them any of your information.  Try to obtain their name and address and forward to the Washington State Attorney General Office as well as you own state's AG office.  These are deceptive practices at the very least that take advantage of our Senior Citizens and You- the hardworking American by way of government cronyism.

This jerk "Joe" says someone in my family ordered a medical pendant but gave the wrong address. Tried to impress me with a 10 digit order number! How do I stop this?

This ALERT calls about once a month and it's a recording trying to sound concerned about a medical ID package. It is absolutely disgusting because I could see someone elderly worried that a family member was hurt or had ordered something. It says "Go ahead and press 1 right now" a couple of times. Disgusting.

Alert called me too! The man sounded live but it was just a recording!  He said it was payed for! They call me everyday so I called back and had my number removed , they said it should take between 24-72 hours .

Person keeps calling trying to get me to accept a medic alert system told them I did not order one and do not call. They keep calling.

Said someone ordered a medical alert id, but did not have my address. Call and let them know where to ship... NOT a chance in hell !!!

caller said they had a pkg. that must have had the wrong address,but it was already paid for, so they will send it right out. it was automated call.

Same as above--(called ID says ALERT, human voice said medical emergency alert going to wrong address) said one of my family members, didn't have the name, which of course is a RED FLAG for bs if nothing else is...usually I don't answer calls I don't recognize. Will report to FCC and block.

alert calls all the time. this time he overdid it! said someone in our family ordered an alert but they didn't have the right address so push 1 so we can get this shipped out! wanted my address!! dose he think i'm that stupid. what is going to be done with these scammers!

Said they had a package for me and had the wrong address, yeah right, press 1 so we can get the correct info and get this package out to you.  Called id'd himself as Joe, very original wow!  This outfit calls frequently.  I did press 1 but no one was on the other end.  Scam for sure, time for another FCC report I guess.

got the same call from 253-236-2391 saying its the deployment center and a medical alert system had been paid for and they were ready to ship it out. just need to press 1 to give my address...then phone goes to busy signal on my end because I did not press 1 or do anything, just hung on to see if the man said anything else. It was a deep man's voice and did not sound like a recording to me. It came from Tacoma, Washington. Caller Id says alert before the phone number. Such a scam!!!!!!!!!!

Just got a call from them, but I didn't answer.  It came up with "Alert" on the caller I.D. which left me a little worried, but I don't like to answer phone numbers I don't know.  I waited to see if they would leave a message, but they didn't.

Caller sounds human at first; later in his speech you know it's a recording.  Says it's the "Deployment Center" and there is a free item (even gives an "order number").  Instructs you to push "1" to give a ship-to address to ship this so called free item "that's already been paid for".  

have a job you`re such cowards no answer yust the  caller ID said  ALERT   Really,    FCC please start doing your job, stop dragging your feet, probably if we going District Atorney that probably make sense to locate this people that have nothing to do.

Scammers,
Calling a very large number of people they don't know, promise thousands of dollars if you're interested.
Stuff that's too good to be true.  Don't fall into the trap.
