my mom got caught by the techvizards. fortunately didn't lose money but tied up her computer and we can't get into it now. its asking for a password that we dont have and never had on the computer previously. any suggestions on how to get past this?

I got another call from a man with Indian accent. And the same thing he insisted that I had a Trojan horse on my computer and I said ok! I have two of them in my back yard, he said yes sir and I said they are sale all let you have them for $600.00 a piece he said no no on your computer I said what the heck! how they get in my computer I need see if there are still in the back yard! I paused for a moment and said your right there not in the back yard!  He said sir are you in front of your computer, I said yes but it is not on he said sir you need to turn on your computer, I said no way not if those dang horses are in their he said no sir you have a computer virus, I said virus I thought you said it was horses, he said no sir computer virus and then I said get a life! And hung up the phone.

Received multiple calls from a man with Indian accent. Insist that I had a Trojan horse in my computer. He couldn't identify my operating system or my e-mail address  Total Bull----

A man call me on 05/29/2012 at 12:45 pm with a India accent clamming they detected a virus on my computer and the then he wanted me to open the event viewer so I played along with hem so I could find out where they were and to see if I could something to stop this since this was the third call I have had from people with a India accent that said they were from Microsoft windows and they detected a virus on my computer. I let them lead me to this web site http://www.techvizard.com  and he told me to click on the blue get support button which turned out to be TeamViewer_Setup.exe so he could have remote desk top access to my computer so I did but instead of running the program I saved the file top my desk top and then I play like I was dumb and said I was checking out the web site to keep them on the phone while I did my research and I keep them on the phone for a long time while I traced the phone call and then he got mad at me and hung up the phone I guess I keep him on the phone too long and he figured out I was messing with hem but when he hung up the phone I called last call return *69 and this phone number came up 253-242-8714 which is the same phone number on the web site there is also 1-800-964-2065 so I called the number so my cell phone so my phone cloud save the numbers this is an internet crime and needs to be stopped because the second time I was called up by a man with a India accent they uploaded a virus on my computer and it cost me 449.99 dollars to have a Omnitech clean up my computer and I cannot afford it I am unemployed right now. Any way I did some more research and the 1-800-964-2065 number is a cell phone from Hualnan City, Anhul Province.

Got a call from this number today. Also thick indian accent, wanting to speak to my husband. When I ask him what about, he said something about microsoft. I told him to tell me because I was the one who used the computer and he hung up. You cannot call the number back. Also had a withheld number on my cell phone today and I did not answer. Wondering if it was the same thing. Never get them on it. Wondering if someone has hacked into something where our phone numbers would be listed!

Just got the same call and same guy heavy accent and noisey room,. insisted i go to his web site.  I told him i had another call and looked up the number and he tried calling back several times. I did not answer.

I got a call from the same phone number. This time the caller used the excuse that I had a "Trojan virus" and he had to help me get rid of it. I hung up on the scammer but, undoubtedly, he was going to get me to let him remotely scan my computer to "help me" while searching it for valuable information (i.e., financial). I'll have to hand it to these lowlifes--they are creative.

Received a call from an Indian Man regarding my computer from 253-242-8714 on May 4th at 4:51pm.  He said someone from Russia was hacking into my computer.  This is the third call I have received from this person regarding the same issue.  The previous call came from 1-800-964-2065.  He wanted me to download some software and I told him "no way" and told him not to call again.  I am reporting this number to the FCC as I did the previous number.

Just got the same call from a man with an indian accent, same thing, stating our computer has a trojan virus.  Not the first time I got a call like this, did ask for my husband by his first name, luckily he was home this time and took care of it.  Some scam!  We take care of our own computers with our own virus protectors.  We asked him what kind of computer that we had and of course he just said "your computer"  should have said which one, because we have more than one.  I hope they call again, I am gonna call him on his crap!

I had the same call just now. Indian accent. I asked for the name of his business but he said that they didn't have a name and that he was calling because my computer "is going to crash in just a few minutes." Its a scam. Please report this to the BBB so that they can be caught and shut down.

I've rec. calls just like this from the same number....It is freaking me out! I hung up on him but they call back. What can be done about it? There has to be something...as far as I am concerned they are harassing me.

Received phone call today from this number for a company claiming to be Tech Solutions, Hired by Microsoft to track down and identify everyone with the csrss.exe virus.  Thick Indian accent - noisy room - urgency in his tone.

I thanked him and told him I would take care of removing it myself.  He began to insist that he had to remove it remotely from his end - and began giving directions.  I hung up.  

He called back 3 times ( I didn't answer).

got a call from this number and guy told that my computer infected and he ask to fix a problem on phone. I denied it and I was told me that I cannot use my computer for online shopping anymore. how sweet! i called back and there is a message about "unassigned  IP address and activation time". he called me by my brother name too.

got a call from this number from a man with an accent saying there is a file on our computer that is a virus or trojan and need to be removed immediately.  gave the name Jason (?) and another 800 number to call back on - when tried, there was very noisy background noise (kids playing????) ad then the same caller called back from this phone number which our caller id showed "unassigned" 253-242-8714.

called twice so I picked up, a man with an Indian accent asked for hubby by name. Says there is a "virus in our computer" Yeah right!
