I now have documented 4 different numbers with the same " Do not hang up ***" message.  All caller id HOME SECURITY.  I can't block them all, I only have room for 20 on my phone.  Numbers are:

They called, I pressed 1 spoke with a lady that was fishing for information.  Claimed she was a security company in Florida.

253 is an area code in Washington state.

She asked me for my name.  I gave her a false name and then I simply stopped talking.  She hung up.

11:46 AM - The same lady called back from 949 209-0036.  949 is a CA area code.  Called back and the line is/was dead

This number is associated with a well-know group of scammers: CallerID4U, Inc. or  Pacific Telecom Communications Group. Through a loophole in the the system (called CNAM provisioning), these vermin make money every time a caller ID is displayed, so they do not care if you respond or not...they will keep calling. The gang leaders are Steve Hamilton and a scumbag attorney named F. Antoine Accuardi. They have a shell company in Belize in order to avoid civil litigation and criminal prosecution. showed up as "home monitor" but when i answered the call, it stayed quiet for about 10 seconds or so and disconnected. when i quickly called the number, it just stayed quiet for more than 30 seconds. i tryed again and again and got only busy signals.

This company calls often and cranks me weekly.

I picked up but I didn't say a word. Nothing at the other end but a click. I have a feeling the bot at the other end thought I was an answering machine as I have never gotten a message from these cretins.

call from Home Security my phone announced. I did not answer and no longer have an answering machine. Quickly typed in the phone number, reinforcing why I don't answer my phone anymore unless I know the caller.
filed a complaint with do not call registry as my phone number is registered.

The number is a Pacific Telecom Communications number. There are dozens of 253-245-XXXX numbers that they use.

4th time they have called...4th time I have pressed 1 and waited to ask a human to remove us from this list as once again I will be reporting them to the no-call office.  Free GE Wireless Home Security System...blah, blah, installed free and equipment free.

I get these calls daily!
The Do Not Call list doesn't work anymore. I'm beyond aggravated.

Got this same call multiple times for GE security systems with the "Do not hang up" and fear tactics quoting that people fall and die with no one to call for them - don't be one of the stastics, blah blah then press 1 and when you press one and state you are on the do not call list or ask to speak to the manager they hang up on you. I work for GE and have talked with our legal council, as I was concerned I was getting these calls and GE was not complying with the do not call registry, our legal department researched this and they are not GE but robocall scammers.

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

Calls all the time.....

File a complaint on the Do Not Call registry.  You can do this even if you are not registered if it is an automated call.  Just google "national do not call list" and it will come up including the link to file a complaint.  I do this for every call like this.  This has reduced the number of calls I get, I am also on the Do Not Call list.  Some stop, some switched to in person calling and some keep calling.  If you say, "Stop calling!", they hang up before you finish so I say "I report all of your calls to the Do Not Call registry. Stop calling me."  When I start that way, they usually listen.  On some calls, I have to call the number back and I say the same thing to the sales person.  Most stop calling after that.  One man was even really nice about it and stopped the calls so I didn't report that number.

One of the MANY many scams that seems to be "going around".  Usually when we get such a call, it is followed by a call from a different number connected with a different  type of scam.   These folks are running MANY different scams at once ... all of which seem to have the aim of getting your credit card number.  They will NEVER stop calling you once you make their list ... and there are too many numbers to block (they change the numbers all of the time, and most of them are spoofed anyways).  There is NO reason to ever answer the phone, unless the number is recognized these days.

called on hardwired home phone by 253 245 2701 at 1:34 PM on 12/18/2012; robo solicitation-man's voice-"DO NOT HANG UP, You have been selected for a free GE home security system and installation,"  then several minutes of benefits and advantages, company name was stated as Security Solutions.  Press 1 to get your free system; Press 2 to be removed from our call list.  I pressed 2, line was disconnected immediately without any confirmation of being removed from list.  Unsolicited call.

Hung up when went to voice mail   no message.   Out of Area,name not available.  Blocked the  number.

Just got call from this #.  No msg.  Didn't recognize # so went on internet and found all these posts.
