if you have sprint you can block these numbers I do it all the time, just go to the webpage and block it, also if you have a different carrier call them they will let you know how to block it.
Something needs to be done
The company answers as Commonwealth Financial, a division of NCC. The woman I spoke to told me about a debt which I informed her was not mine since I never had an account with that company during that timeframe. She called me a liar and informed me the calls would not stop until I pay the debt. She then hung up on me before I could respond further.
When I called back asking for a supervisor, twice I was transferred to voicemail and the automated system advised me to leave my details after the tone. I am not going to provide more details to an automated system when clearly they already have enough information to harass me over a debt that isn't even mine.
What can we do about this annoyance?
Just got a call and voice mail said to wait for you message and some guy picked up and say may I help you and I was disconnected as I was asking whot was this?
Found out they were calling on an credit card account that was 9 years old and filed bankruptcy and apparently the account has been resold again.

Some guy named skyler king keeps calling my mother in law from this number about a debt over 13 years old that I dont even think is mine. Extremly rude to my elderly mother in law!! Calls other times and just hangs up. I am reporting these people to the BBB
I never stay on the line when I answer the phone so I don't know what they are calling for BUT i just got my phone so how they have my number or if the call is even REALLY for me idk!
We need to be able to block any call. I've got one number that ends in -3604 that I have 45 calls in the last three months

BEEN GETTING THESE CALLS NON FOR 2 YEARS. COMES IN WAVES, 10 CALLS A WEEK TO 10 CALLS IN TWO MONTHS. ALWAYS A HANG-UP. NO MESSAGES LEFT. MY RESEARCH SHOWED THE SAME AS OTHERS LISTED HERE.
WHY CANT WE BLOCK CALLS ON CELL PHONES ? PROBABLY BECAUSE EVERY CALL IS $ TO THESE CELL COMPANIES.

after the message to press 1 for english, its like you called them, there is ringing and then some one picks up "how may i help you?" (male) i ask who is this and he hangs up. that is annoying at 9:30 in the morning.
This is a collection agency called NCC. I have also received this call several times and even first thing in the morning. Well this morning they called, I answered. When they asked who was calling, I asked who they were first. Then, the guy just hung up on me. So I called back to ask for a supervisor and this awful woman answered denying me a supervisor saying I had no right to talk to one. I told her that I wanted the calls to stop bc it was harassment since they had the wrong number. Then she starts yelling at me saying I was lying about them calling all the time and in the mornings!?! I told her just bc she had a BS job doesnt give her the right to be rude...then she hung up.
Basically, if these people keep calling, talk to a supervisor. I finally talked to one and he was nice and professional. He took my number out of the system and "said" he would listen to phone records and reprimand those employees who were rude to me.
This number calls our phone constantly (at least once a day). When we pick it up, a recorded message says "press 1 for English."
same as above. Received a call, ID said Auburn, and when a person finally answered after I was put on hold, someone said NCC, how may I help you. I said I'm not calling you, you're calling me. Then the call was over, guess she hung up on me. I called their number back, finally got a person, and told her what happened. She asked for the # where I received the call, I told her, and she said that # is registered to multiple people they are trying to reach, but told me she would remove the # from their system. Absolutely obnoxious.
