Got a call from this number and they asked for the meter reading off of the copy machine in our office.  When I asked them to repeat what company they were from, they hung up.  It's a scam!!!  If they get the reading from your copy machine they can then send you a huge bill for ink and toner.  Do not fall for these crooks!!

This number called me and I didn't answer it, knowing full well it was a scammer.  But I've read through all these reports and find that there are at least 7 different types of calls coming from this same number:  1. Your computer has a virus and we will fix it 2. You owe us money and we want it now  3. You've committed a crime and we are coming to arrest you  4. This is your grandson/son/nephew and I need money/help (or your granddaughter has been arrested and needs help) 5. You've won $50,000  6. Rachel at Credit Card Services and 7. We need your bank account number to check on your medicaid account. Now, I've encountered almost every one of these scams before, but not all from the same number.  Fortunately for us, this type of caller usually mispronounces our last name, or asks for my husband by his first name, so we always know if it is unsolicited if we happen to answer the call (which we usually don't.)

This number has called me repeatedly claiming that I have a judgement against me and the he - Ryan Mathews - would be to my residence on Friday between 2-8 to serve papers and to have my supervisor here to witness it and my driver's license.

Received a call from these clowns wanting my checking account number to verify my medicaid card. I told them that I didn't have a bank account but was with a credit union. He asked which one and I told him it was Alaska. He wanted to know if it was in D. C.  I told them to send me the information in the mail and I would fill out the information being requested. He hung up on me.

Caller left message saying he was from National notificiation center. Said his name was Scott Sommers and was calling in referance to a contest that one of us had entered and he was looking at the entry form. He did not mention any names. He said it was about $50.000.and left this other number (1-855-545-7296) to call and said congratulations. He had no accent.

Received a call this am from 2353-272-2053, Transcom Enhance. The man calling had a foreign accent and stated he was from the Technical Dept and was calling about my windows problems. Told him I just had brand new windows installed and wasn't having a problem, laughed and hung up. The windows scam I'm assuming.

These people have been doine these type of cold calls, they never have the correct information. just today I received a call from 253-272-2053, the Indian or Pakistani person claimed that my computer was sending them error messages when I asked for specific information he could not answer and began to repeat himself, then he mentioned IP addresses I asked from what IP address were the errors from , all he could come up with was 192.  which is the first block which common for most consumers and computers  routers he clearly had no Computer or networking knowledge, this is a fake company.

Same here.heavy Indian accent but local number that when recalled says your international call cannot go thru?? Something's fishy in Denmark!! Asked for me by name but I said I wasn't here right now and wanted to take a message. I hung up on them.how are they using a local number?

Called this afternoon. Heavy East Indian accent, asked to speak with someone who I could understand...during my wait..I could hear faint voices in the background...then some guy came on the line. From what I could understand he/company is "responsible for all the windows computers in the world that are sending error messages." States that my computer has been sending "error messages." Also, he states that all this is damaging my hard drive and is hurting the internet. Stated that they would be happy to "fix" my computer remotely...etc...etc. I told him that I think that what he is saying is bull....and I'm not falling for the scam...and to go jam it. Never could get what company this was.!!!!

This is a SCAM!! The caller attempts to walk you through the process of loading malicious code onto your computer so they can steal your information, or force you to pay money to unlock the trojan you have helped them install! Tell these losers to get a real job and then hang up on them!

Got call saying my granddaughter was in jail and needed money. Where do these people come from?

This is some type of repeater service that connects long distance calls- I know this because my wife is in Canada and when she calls our home phone from her cell phone the caller ID shows this number (253) 272-2053.  it has happened 3 times over the past 2 days. what's weird is that when she calls my cell phone it shows her cell phone number.  best I can gather is that there must be some type of signal booster that helps transfer/connect the call. so the number you all are seeing most likely is not that number but rather the number of this service.

This group has called me numberous time this week, after calling to tell me to tell me they work for microsoft 35 group and that my computer was infected.  I unfortunately fell for the scam and bought their fix then realized that they were a scam.  Called today said do you remember me and then laid into him that they were a scam and they hung up on me.. used a local number this time not out of area.  Please don't fall for this......the used # 646-664-1919 and 858-224-4544 too

This person with a foreign accent keeps calling me and uses my name amd keeps saying its about my computer. I told him i was contacting do not callas i am on it and to quit calling me. He kept saying its about about my computer so I just hung up.

Male voice, no accent. Calling to schedule delivery of emergency medical device. He said it was purchased and paid for. When asked by who - he continued with his script. I said I didn't needs and he said it could be used for friend or relative. He continued to talk over me. I said No and hung up.  Reporting this number to the Do Not Call Registry as a violation.

Calling my elderly grandmother claiming to be her oldest grandson, couldn't pronounce her last name so we knew it was a scam - scary though...

I asked where are you......and then he said I must have wrong no. and hung up..
I suspect he was going to ask for $$  and pretend he was in dire straits....

This dirtbag called me at 2:30 AM and so far has called 3 more times this morning.  He is now on my phones block list but I can see that they keep trying.

Some guy with broken English called and told me that he worked for windows and he told me my computer wasn't getting updated. When I challenged the call he hung up.  Defiantly a SCAM CALL!!!!

Ummm yeah, they are really pissing me off. They are calling my job multiple times in a row and told my boss they will be here in 20 mins to serve me papers. Same exact thing. SCAM for real. They even called one of my friends asking about me? How they got their number I'll never know.

Someone in broken English told me there is something terribly wrong with my computer. I said I was going to report them.

I have had the identical experience, numerous times.  Most recently from 888-681-6925.  He identifies himself as from MicroTec services, "one of the largest technology servicing systems."  Says my computer sends him error messages but can't figure out which operating system I use and consistently refers to one I don't use.

Called at 5:30am waking up everyone in the house! The lady had a super thick accent I could barely understand. Said my computer had a virus. Told her she was stupid because I have no computers in my home right now. Said I was going to report this scan and to never call back. Number that showed on my caller ID was: 253-272-2053 (Tacoma, WA). Hope they shut down these creeps!
