Pre-recorded message about home break-ins and a "free" security system offer. I've heard the same recorded message from a dozen numbers in the past couple of years, so there's a high probability of scam/fraud. I would not recommend calling the number back, as any prompts may end up forwarding your call to an international long-distance or premium rate number and can result in large charges on your bill.

I live on the east coast and don't know anyone from this area code. Called and didn't leave a message.

Received call from 253-330-8196. No message.

I received a voicemail from this number stating that I was eligible to receive a free wireless home security system that is monitored by my local police, fire, and medical agencies.  It then stated that I must be a homeowner to take advantage of the special offer and to press 1 if I was interested.  2 to be removed from the calling list.  There was no company name mentioned in the voicemail, and there is no way I am going to call back to find out who they are.  

computer spam starts off "this is not a sales call.."  I hung up

Called and hung up. Thought it was a friend from the West Coast and called back. Hung up immediately when I heard a computer voice: press any number to be removed from this list." Hope I didn't just lose $$$ on a scam.
