Answer your phone and ask them to take you off of their internal call list. Do you think it will just go away if you DON'T ANSWER? We ARE a legit business. We aren't standing on a street corner asking for money. We all work hard and make a lot of people happy. Ever stop to think you may be cussing and screaming at a poor high school girl with her first job? You or perhaps your children DID sign up to enter SOME kind of contest. Cussing these kids out is not the answer. If someone tells us to take them off of our calling list WE DO! Some companies may not - but as I said WE DO!
If you don't answer your phone you will get called again. We are a small office with 5 employees.
Don't know how we can make everyones life so miserable with a simple phone call.

They called me twice on my cell and I accidentally answered while it was still in it's case. A snotty woman asked if it was me (she knew my name!) and then asked if I knew a live person was on the other end. I explained what happened and she hung up on me!! WTF?

I'm getting calls from 253-7303  Carla Colwell, I don't answer but the calls keep coming in. Wish I knew how to make them stop.

Getting calls from the following numbers on my cell phone ((253) 333-1371; (253) 333-9263 and (253) 333-9524.  I NEVER enter contests and NEVER give my cell number out so I'm wondering if credit card companies sell our information to these people.  They never leave messages and I never answer their calls.

These obnoxious people keep calling, never leave a message, and it's busy if you call back. I HATE people like this. I'm in DC right now but I'm from Portland, so they're calling me super late for no reason.

The call to my house came in at 9:00 on a week night from Carla Colwell at 253-333-9163. I don't answer calls from anyone I don't know. I have not entered anything in years for this EXACT reason. Carla, if you read this, take me off your damn list. And why don't you have to follow the do not call list?? And they didn't leave any message. Scammers.

They called and told me I had won a free vacation. The caller definitely used the word "free." She insisted I had filled out an entry to win a free car and that is how they obtained my number.  But I never filled out any such entry.  She did not identify herself by name or tell me that she was working for Vacation International. When I pressed her to identify herself and explain what was going on, she said she worked for "advertisers in the area" but would not identify which advertisers.  I told her I wanted nothing, no free gifts or free tickets to anywhere.  She screeched at me "why not?!"  She was rude, obnoxious, and when I continued to try to get some details and clarify from her, she hung up on me!  If this truly is a legit tactic from Vacation International, they need to re-think the way they train their employees.  As for using the "fine print" excuse to harass and exploit consumers, no serious business would stoop to that, and I doubt it would stand up in court.  I said NO loud and clear and I think they heard me.  If they continue to harass me, I will report the phone number and the company to the Better Business Bureau.

This is a company called vacation international, i worked there for a short time and just wanted to clear a few things up, if people call and don't leave messages they are the new hires and haven't been taught how to leave messages such as myself when i worked there, also there are a few girls that work there that are very inappropriate but there are others that are quite nice, the reason they call so many times is if they don't get an answer they call back twice more then they leave a message and if you are on a do not call list then make sure to not fill out any "enter to win _____" contests and tell your friends not to enter you because there is fine print at the bottom of those entries allowing our company and other sponsors to contact you with offers so if they call its your own fault, as for the cussing and name calling this is a job, some people ARE interested in receiving a vacation so they continue to do it, people don't come into your work and call you obscene names and say hateful words so DON'T do it to them because its your own fault for filling out an entry form without reading the entire thing. its also not a scam they really do send you on a vacation as an "almost free" sample of what the company does, you have to pay taxes as you do with anything that you get, weather its a car or money. they dont use the word win and they don't use the word free for that reason it costs a small amount of money and a chunk of your time

I got a call last night from this same number.  Telling me I won some vacation that I entered.  Ha Ha I told them to forget it.  First I don't enter anything with my phone number because it is unlisted.  And I have been harassed by these kind of scammers in the past.  So I knew it wasn't legit.  But what I would like to know is how did they get my name and phone number?  And I am on the Do Not Call List so they are breaking the law by trying to sell me a timeshare vacation.  I think the attorney general should hear about this.

I got a call last night at 8:30pm asking for my son Danny.  Well the date was Oct 14th 2010 and my son died in a car accident on Oct 14th 2009!!!!  I asked her why she was calling and asking for him, she said nothing and I said he died one year ago today!!!  She hung up on me..  Tried to call back, just rang then busy tone.  We have been trying to find out about the car accident my son was in and thought maybe it was someone that new something or being a jerk.  She is lucky we don't have her address...

Got about 7 calls from this number.  Finally picked it up and it was a woman on the line but I was on another line so I told them I would call back.  When I tried to call back but the line is always busy???  Is this a scam to charge you $$ when you try to return their calls?  Don't know.

I also got two calls from following two numbers.

I never have subscribed for anything at VacationInternational. I think they could have stolen my phone number from others.  

Now I added them into my Don'tAnswer list.  When these numbers are displayed, my phone shows Don'tAnswer.

Me, too.  I won't answer it.  However, I may have filled out an entry at an RV Show.

This phone number goes a a phone soliciation service in Auburn, WA.  If you ever filled out a form in a mall, or some where else, registering to win a free vacation, free RV, etc, then your data went to these people and they're trying to call you and get you to tour their resorts, lister to their sales pitch, etc.  I'm trying to find their exact address so I can vist them in person.  Af that visit, at I know they won't call me again!
