These scammers often call numbers at random, and your unlisted number just happened to be "it" on those days. They are making thousands of calls per day, and sooner or later, everybody gets one of those annoying calls.

Still getting calls have reported already

When they called me I had to laugh.  The Caller ID said "Lower Interest," but how can that be?  There is no lower interest than mine when it comes to your deal.

Rachel from Card Services has been calling me for a long time.  I finally hit the "1" to connect with them and got a gruff man who slammed down the phone when I asked to be taken off their list.

Once again "Rachel" called me and once again I hit the "1" this time getting a pleasant lady who was very interested in my interest in the "less than 6.9% rate" they had promised.  She began her interview by asking if I had over $3000 in my combined credit card accounts.  I said I had way less than that and she very politely and disappointedly said she would remove me from their list.  We'll see what happens now!!

Today I got a call from someone who claimed they can solve my (nonexistent) overdue tax burden.  That number is   1-253-382-9983 and I hit "7" to remove me from their list.  Wonder if that will work!?!?!

I too was surprised that they have continued to call after seeing the amount of money they paid to the FCC in fines in March of this year, I believe.  

I read some guy was using an air horn on the callers which I thought was a great idea.  Now I blast them with bursts of air horns.  I do block the numbers but my phone only blocks 30 numbers so I have to "rearrange" which numbers haven't been used in a while and put in new ones.  The blocking has worked to some degree but they have even spoofed local numbers with local people's name.

I take some of these calls because I have certain places with the area code they use that I'm expecting calls from.

Some don't hang up after the blast.  They will reply with "anything louder?", or some other comment.

Whether it helps or not, I sure feel better.

This number continues to call our home and my mother's.  The one and only time anything was said when we answered was about getting a Low Interest rate.  Seems it was out of Washington.  Being on the DO NOT CALL list does not seem to be working.  I am tired of answering these calls and reporting them.  These calls come in early morning and very late at night.  If we do not answer there is no message left on our answering machine........just keeps calling over and over again....

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They are a public utility who's business involves facilitating illegal telemarketing calls in apparent violation of 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

Elderly people are very susceptible to Scam calls.  EVERYONE needs to learn to NEVER NEVER give ANY voice on the phone ANY info.  

Instead look up the REAL # for your Lab or Dr's office or Bank or for WHOEVER it is that they say they are calling for, and You call THEM to ask if they are trying to reach you.

NEVER EVER give ANY voice over the phone ANY of your info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Receive calls from this number to "Lower my Interest" which is funny since I have no interest expense. These scammers use several numbers in the Kent, Seattle, and Tacoma areas.

I'm starting to do the very same here and it makes me happy just knowing someone else out there is working some of the magic back at em!! I am also on the DNC list and have resorted to just pressing the # key repeatedly (a friend of mine suggested to do that because it supposedly interupts the message...if recorded...to the point where their machine will eventually foul up.)

The message I got was about lowering an interest rate.  However, it was dishonest in that it pretended to be associated with an existing loan when it clearly was not.  For that reason, I would be very concerned that this could be phishing rather than just spam.

Rachel Called!!!  leave me alone.  I don't need lower interest rates.  I don't have a loan.  My interest rate is ZERO for a loan, and ZERO to answer this crap.  Leave me alone.

i have been reporting these numbers to fcc.gov for about 5 months (you file an online form).  guess what --- i'm not getting these scumbag phone calls or text anymore !  it took a while, but it was worth it !

I've been getting the same message for years.  Never stop calling.  #1 Asking them not to call doesn't work.
#3 (no be put on no-call) doesn't work - I've had them call back the same day and the next day and so on.
Rude scammers.
Don't know if they always call from the same number, but the message is the same.

Repeated calls from this number.  I am on NDNCL, but that seems to be a waste of time.  Caller claims to be offering lower CC rates....

I am so tired of getting this phone call from whomever is making it.   I do not deal in credit cards!

I have a solution to your problem!  Get a Digitone Call Blocker 10.  I just bought one 2 weeks ago and am enjoying peace and quiet in my house!  You can block individual numbers as well as entire area codes!  This same number called me today and got hung up on by my call blocker!  Any blocked number that calls you gets immediately answered and hung up on....your phone will not even ring!!  I love it.  It is the best $99.00 I ever spent.  It knocks out about 4 calls a day for me and is saving my sanity!  I do not work for Digitone and will not get anything if you buy one.  I just wanted to share what I wish I would have found a couple years sooner!  The do not call list is a joke.  They don't do anything.

We have an unlisted number and we are on the Do Not Call List. They call anyway!

Just an added note. We moved three months ago and that is when all of these nuisance calls started. We did not get them AT ALL at our old address! I have the same phone number as I had before!

We have obviously ended up on some telemarketer's list because we are getting more calls from these scammers than before Do Not Call. I am going to report them anyway because after I do, they don't call back from that number again.

Same as all above..."Lower Interest" with this number on caller id...pressed 3 and call continues.  These people need to be stopped.  This has been going on for literally YEARS!!  No help is out there as far as I can tell.  Our taxes at work...
