Scams and more scams from the west coast, AKA blue states. I guess that these are the best jobs that  Democrats have in Obamaland.

253-382-9955 - political survey, you have been carefully selected ! I then hang up ! Must be a scam !
This is a USA phone no, why would they want my opinion ? I am in Canada. I am on the do not call list

I'm assuming this phone call is just another tellemarketer calling but if not I wish the person would leave a message as I am getting sick of getting calls from numbers I don't know.

This and a caller from 647 725 2912 and 2913 have been calling so I went to my VOIP phone service provider who has a way to block these guys.
IF you have VOIP ask your service provider how to block them.

I need to block these calls. The DNC list is indeed a joke and I think it is facillitating these scammers.
How do I block them?

They're "phishing" for what time to call back...  Best tactic is to not answer if you don't know who's calling but of course that's only an option if you have call display.

Received a recorded call from this number yesterday.  Started out with a "political survey" and then went on with the "you will be entered to win...yada yada".  I just hung up on it.

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They are a public utility who's business involves facilitating illegal telemarketing calls in apparent violation of 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

Got this call at 10:30 PM .. . . . come on . . . .

Sounds like the Independent Survey Group/Political Opinions scam artists have changed their spoofed phone number again.  This would be the 6 or 7th call I've gotten from these scammers, all different numbers, but the same scam.

Report them and don't bother beyond that.  Tempted to place a complaint with the police, hoping that might stop them or at least put a warning out to others in the area about this scam.

I am receiving several calls from this phone number every day and nobody says anything or leave any message.

Please stop bothering you so much

Message was regarding a survey about home foreclosures. Quite coincidental that we just happen to have a home in foreclosure.  I'll bet they would be offering some solution for a scam price.

they call me to but I didnt fall for that bull s*** I ask them for their phone number and I will call them back at their house they wouldnt give it to me so I told them to f-off

Just got a call from that number also but I didn't pick it up.  It will be interesting to see how many times they call.

Thunder Bay ON here. I am not understanding the purpose of the calls when they just hang up without saying anything. Anyone able to enlighten me?

253-382-9955 has just called Surrey, BC. In the past weeks I have also been bothered by 877-455-4966 / 866-406-4722 / 360-474-3960 / 971-208-9960 / 206-496-0962. Many of these numbers have made repeated calls with urgancy for my opinion as to who will be President after the next election. By now one of intelligence would know that I hang up on their messages.

Unknown caller. Has called numerous times.

I had one today and keep getting these calls.  But I'm not here to recieve them and no message left.

The same it says Washington then the number, but silence when I pick up, and say hello.

Annoying...two calls ...noone there.

The Canadian Do Not Call registery does not work for these calls since they originate outside of Canada  - there is no jurisdication to block calls unless they orginate in Canada. The best thing to do (if you have call display) is let it ring. if you pick it up, the system knows what time of the day you are home and you will continue to get harassing phone calls at that time of day.

They've called here 3 times today and also hung up when the phone was answered. Not answering anymore and will disconnect cord for the night just in case. Anyone important knows my cell number anyway. But still...wtf??!!!

Got called about 30 min ago.  Thanks for this site, at least I know to block them.  If this is the Political/Cruise one, it's the third time they've tried with three different numbers.  I've blocked every one of them!

So this is the latest number to spam us all in the last 24 hours.

Since I need my answering machine on, but don't want it full of this crap, I use PhoneTray free with my computer modem. Got so sick of adding all these spoofed numbers, I've finally resorted to blocking everything outside my area code.

Life is so much more peaceful now. I recommend this to anyone with a dialup modem looking for a free solution.

Out of curiosity, I still come here to see what crap I've missed!
