Just got a call from 253-414-0401. It was a recorded message regarding my credit card services. I dont have one, nice try. Go fishing elsewhere.
Tried to call back but number would not go through
I get at least one call like this every week, I'm getting sick of it since i work with people around the country and generally have to answer calls from area codes I don't recognize... I'm pretty pissed
Got a call from this number. I didn't pick up. No message was left.
Keeps calling me. When I call back the number is a non working number
Credit Card Company....................I don't have any credit cards! They want to sell some kind of report. Wakes me up at all hours of the day (I work nights). I'm on DO NOT CALL list, but they get through anyway. PISSES ME OFF!!! Told them to take me off their list!!!
i have received a call from this number, on Oct. 10, 2011 at 9:44 am PST and they have called before. I have not picked up my phone and they do not leave a message. They call my cell and I have recently put my number on the DNC list. I will continue to ignore these calls, but I seem to get more of them these days. It's very disappointing however my information gets passed around.....
Just got a call from this #. Did not answer. I have a cell phone and it is listed on the do not call list. I have Nextel and they do not block numbers. I usually add the annoying ones to my contacts and write do not answer and one number as the name.
Yu Betcha...the US Government is responsible for sca, artists using burn phones and ignoring the DO Not Call registry. I spent a hour on the phone talking to someone at the DNC registry and they have stopped a similar operation in the past. The first problem is, these people use throw away untraceable cell phones. the second problem is people like you who like to blame the government for every problem in your life and DO NOTHING TO HELP...like report the number instead of bitching on sites like this
HELLO...THE NATIONAL DO NO CALL REGISTRY IS FOR CELL PHONES AS WELL AS LANDLINES. you can try blocking the number...verizon lets you block 5 #s for 90 days for free or more #s forever for $4.99/mo. The problem with this scam is that they use burn phone so reporting a partiicular number is a waste of time. I blocked three different numbers for these low lifes and they keep calling from a different number. I just might have to resort to answering the phone, speaking to someone and using the tried and true blow a police whistle in their ear and hope it ruptures the moron's eardrum.
Dont register your Number to do not call registry, i did that 4 years ago and i recieve moer calls after i register. if you want to find out go ahead and register. national call registry is just another BS. so we the people think they will help and they are doing something. then why i recieve calls from spammers after 4 years and we have alot of complaint here.. funny how we pay taxes and get wasted. :(
so how much you get paid on your new job stupid , national do not cala is not for all cellphone, then why they name it national donat call, not by individual cellphone provider, suck up what ever you can from the tax payers money, you are the reason some of the government office no not move forward, you talk first before doing your action.
national do not call registry, dont do thier job, all they do is sit on thier fat a** and collect pay check and get thier happy meal, i suggest we get all together and find a small claims court far away from washington tacoma and sue them. thank you/

Got a call from this number. Answered it as I do business with customers in WA state.
Robot explained that they've contacted me multiple times and this is my final notification that I could lower my credit card interest rate on all my cards as long as I maintain a $3000+ balance.
I pressed 1 to speak to a representative but had to hang up before I let loose with a tirade of obscenities on her as I was in a room with others and in mixed company.
Total scammers, phishers and cheats.
Calling my cell phone.
I have received calls from this number. I am on the do not call list!
I got a call from them this afternoon, I didn't answer because I forgot my phone. I googled the number to see who it is and fond this blog. I have received calls from them before asking about my credit cards I always hang up, I don't nor have I have ever had a credit card.
THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY IS NOT FOR CELL PHONES! You can hit the ignore button on your cell phone, or answer it and as soon as its someone you don't know...just hang up on them. Then block that number (if you don't know how to do this, call your cell phone provider). I usually add them to my contacts as Z spam and set their number to 'no ring' and block them as well. It's annoying yes, but don't expect anyone to do anything about it, except YOU. Marketers have always been annoying and they aren't going away, so take action and forget about it. Filing complaints with who ever is a WASTE of time. So ignore, or hang up, EASY!
Make sure you fill this out EVERY TIME YOU GET ONE OF THESE CALLS!!
This number is just the latest used by these scammers. I have received many, many calls from different telephone numbers and different locations in the country, all with the same recorded message stating that the call is from my credit card services. Both my landline phone number and my cell phone numbers are listed on the National Do Not Call Registry, and both devices have received the calls. I have reported each call, but nothing is ever done to put a stop to them. What a joke the NDNCR is to the people who have no respect for the privacy of others.
The real problem here is the FEDERAL GOV'T. They are full of SH_ _. The Do Not Call Registry is just another made up BS Office created by the Federal Govt to either employ some of their buddies families or some crap like that. Trust me, somehow someone they owe, know whatever is benefiting from this Office because the Do Not Call Registry is good for nothing else other than a way to create jobs to pay someone. Have had my number on it for a few years now, made complaints, etc to no avail. I still keep getting the calls. Why? Like I said because the Federal Govt is not going to do a damn thing about it and these companies know it. Get used to it. Does anyone know of any company they have ever gone after? Didn't think so. We are all being Screwed by our own Gov't on a day to day basis in any and every way they can imagine possible. Over half the laws on the books are there only to amuse us and con us in to believing the Federal Gov't has our best interests in mind. Try finding someone to enforce the majority of the laws, YOU WON'T. I know, I am a victim and cannot get anyone to help. Bend over and get some vaseline, 95% of the American population will need it.
Sales call? Tried calling it back to no avail. Annoying
Thanks for the info. Saw a missed call and googled the number. I am on the do-not-call list as well. Don't waste my time!
I got called on my cell... I never answer unknown callers... unless I have reason to expect a call from an unexpected number like for a service call, etc.
I checked here and I just added it to the block list on my phone.
Just got a call from this number and im a little tired of calls and scams like this. Hope someone can but a stop to it!.....thanks for the info from the post.
On a no call list; do not answer unknown #'s, and know no one from that area code, nor do business with anyone from that area code. I give cell number only to family and few chosen friends.
Same here.I registered my number for the "do not call list" and continue to get thos annoying telemarketing calls...Please stop calling.
Just received a call. I didn't answer and they left no message. I'm going to get my phone company to block this number too.
I got a call on my cell this afternoon. I didn't answer it since I didn't recognize the number. There was no message left. I'm not planning on calling back. I think it's sad that whoever these people are or anyone out there that doesn't recognize the fact that all cell phones have caller id on them and that most people don't answer the phone if they don't recognize the number because it's it 1) a sales call, 2) sometype of pay-day loan scam or 3) some other type of scam. It doesn't bother to get these calls because if I don't recognize the number, I don't answer - they can leave a message if it's a legitmate call. If the screen comes up as PRIVATE or UNKNOWN, I don't answer the phone for the same reason. For all the reason I mentioned, I can put up with a minute of listening to my phone ring or hit the end or ignore button. And I too am on the "Do Not Call" list but we all see how well that works.
