have been getting calls from this number in Washington state that there is  a virus coming from my computer. I never let them get any farther than that before I let them have it. This type of call used to come from New York, saying that they were from Microsoft and I was sending viruses out from my computer. How do I make these calls stop?

said they were calling from microsoft because they were getting error messages from my computer.

What use is a no call list. More graft for our legislators.

This is the 4th, call from this fake law frim. Phipps gibson and barnnet.   The state of iL  attorney general office was called.  I got a call back, from them saying the is scam the law firm is not real.   They say are all going to be asserted and served.  And i better get a def att.   1.  They can not make these types of calls.   If you are getting arrested.  Hang up.   No one calls you if getting arrested, to warn you.

i have had over 402 telemarketer in the last 2 weeks even though I have  registered and blocked manually calls.
This has to stop as it is an invasion of privacy and also my number is a business line

Got call from this number and it didn't ring more than once. Says WA, USA. Happened right after I sent bulk SMS to my wife overseas. I asked her she said she didn't call.

Same here. Called my office number and then my cell about the same time.

received a call today from 253-429-3454...man with an asian indian accent named john smith tells me that someone is trying to hack into my computer. sounds like he's calling from a "sweatshop"...tons of people talking in the background....persistent little a-hole....won't stop talking....put him on hold a dozen times...finally sent him to voice mail....I called him back and asked him for his savings account number and bank routing number...he didn't get it.

Looking at back all these responses means that they're obviously running a scam. They have called numerous times and have told me that my debit card has been cancelled and to press 1 to talk to someone. The recording sounds like the talk back on Microsoft Word.

This number has called me several times, a guy named "Johnson" --they say that I am entitlied to medical compenasation, and then get very argumentative when I tell them to stop calling my number and take me off their "list".   They also call from a number that comes us as 1ac.

Same number called me today left a message.. Was a Mexican speaking Spanish and said hola and some word I didnt know...

I'm getting tons of calls from 253429c454.  I won't answer, and they don't leave a message.  They call my cell several times a day.  :-(

note: the same # keeps showing up every day around the same time and i'm not sure that it's the same as my previous post (above)

I think it may be a different company calling some of the time because sometimes i don't hear anything or anyone there... yesterday when the "house of reps" folks called i could hear lots of chatting in background- totally call center, whereas the other times the same # has called it's totally silent no matter whether i talk or no matter how long i'm on the line...

it was some democratic group calling for donations for the house of representatives
they said they had no phone number that should appear because it was a call center

i suspect maybe this number shows up in lieu of the call centers, so the calls may originate from multiple sources, hence our experiences of different types of calls, same #???

Medical Compensation. Were you ever on birth control pills? then names off some pills used for birth control. I finally hung up because could not fully understand the foreign voice as was either Japanese or Chinese or Philipino.

I keep getting phone calls from this number (253) 429-3454 to my CELL. No one is on the line, I call back and no one picks up. This occured for the past 6 months

I also get a call from this number everyday for about a week now. I just don't answer if I don't know you, I won't callyou!

I started getting a call from them today. First call was private. they proceeded to tell me I won 2.5 million dollars. They told me It would be delivered to me today at 11a.. (it was already 10:15a)  they asked me what time it was here. I told them that if they were delivering at 11a then they knew what time it was. I was told to go0 to walmart and get a green dot visa. I told them i knew I didn't have to pay anything If I won money. he told me that I wasn't that they needed it to put the money on. I told them not to call back... guess what... they called back from an unknown number ... I again told them off and told them I was hanging up and not to call back and even spelled NOT for him on the phone. I told him that they were calling from a private number and an unknown number and to quit calling me. I again told them good bye (yelling of course) and hung up again... they called back a 3rd time from 1-253-429-3454. It was again the same person he told me we had a bad disconnection... I told him to never call me again and hung up again. During this conversation he told me they were at the airport on their way to bring me the prize at 11a .... I proceeded to ask him which airport and he proceeded to tell me Las Vegas... I said well I know they won't make it to me by 11a. ( there is no way they can get from Las Vegas to Kentucky in 45 mins.... ) beware!!! also when he last mentioned the green dot visa he told me that it was $199.00 I know that if you win money you DO NOT have to pay money up front. If they tell you that they are lying. Also beware of a company called Google Adsense. About a year ago they sent me a check (postmarked canada) and a letter telling me to call them so they could activate the check. I purposely put it in a seperate account and left it sit there. They told me to call them when I deposited it. They told me that they sent the check to cover the taxes on  the winnings. I told them that I would not send them anything or pay anything until the check cleared. About a week later it bounced counterfeit .... I hadn't touched it because I thought it would bounce ( not very trustworthy). I called them back after that happened, just like they said and I let them do their spill and everything and then I called them out on the carpet about it. They proceeded to tell me that that was impossible. I said not accoring to my bank and that they were scammers and of course they hung up on me. Don't ever believe anything like that. If someone sends you a check, put it in a seperate account and let it set there til it clears or is returned. This has happened by another company too

Funny thing is, according to North America Numbering Plan Administrtion, 253-429 is not even in use by any telecommunication service provider.

it is a loop line... it's a "local" number used by toll free numbers to get through....
they called on my cell phone.

She is not serving anyone, its a scam listed on the FBI website, they say u owe money due to a loan, or collections, or whatever, and that u'll be arressted, however, DO NOT SEND S***!!!! People have fallen for it sadly..... The best thing to do is ignore, or go to the FBI site to see how they say to handle it.

don't return the call.....they could be "phishing" for info.  this is a spammer.
