Robo Call. They state they are from the Washington Homebuyer's Association offering seminars to homebuyers. This is actually a vehicle used by John Washington, a realtor associated with Coldwell Banker-Bain based in Tacoma, Washington. The Washington Homebuyer's Association (WHBA) has a website. It references the "Washington State Housing Finance Commission." This is a state organization that has nothing to do with WHBA. Apparently, John is using the Commission to give his organization some legitimacy. If I wanted information on buying a house, I would go to the state organization and avoid WHBA.

I too, recieved the same phone call from these phone number. I ended up missing the call, so I decided to call back. Only there is no ringing on the other end and it's just plain silence. Nice to know I wasn't the only one recieving calls from this John Washington.

I get alot of calls that call and hang up. Today was the first time I actually put the number in the computer to see who was calling. It is annoying isn't it?

Just received the call. My method: I pick up the line and then *immediately* hang up. It seems to work with all of these outfits.

As mentioned above, it is a shell "non-profit" corporation for John Washington.
His webpages. http://www.johnwashington.biz/ and http://www.whba.org/
He is using a shell "non profit" corporation to get around don't call laws.
The corporation is registered in Washington state.
